My daughter needed surgery on her eyes, after a failed surgery at a different hospital and being referred here, the service was next to none and really put into perspective the talent the surgeons and staff really have at BCH. After a worrying morning of going into the unknown. Dr Parulekar and Dr McDermott showed compassion from the minute they came to see us for the preop chat all the way through to discharge - everything was explained clearly and all answered were asked with no hesitation. The staff in the anaesthesia room were all brilliant calmed myself and my toddlers nerves. All nurses caring for her were brilliant. Especially Maria who went above and beyond - nothing was too much!! Im so so grateful and hoping for a speedy recovery☺️”
