They carried out nail removal surgery for me explaining everything in detail beforehand which was much appreciated. Along with training for patterns and sparring, Master Schuter shares their significance in real life for self-defense. Students participate in charity, regional, national and international competitions. It's part of my healthy lifestyle now. I recommend Solihull TAGB.”

“As soon as I found out I was expecting our third baby I also knew it was also going to our last and I wanted to honour the experience more than I previously had. After meeting Melanie I knew instantly that she would be the perfect birth partner to help support me. However what I didn’t expect is how much support Melanie would provide antenatally as well. By the time the day came for my baby to make his way into this world, Melanie’s support was already worth her weight in gold! I thoroughly enjoyed all the antenatal visits she provided, I never felt rushed and she would come and sit and chat for hours making sure I felt comfortable and informed. During my pregnancy my plans for birth changed multiple times and Melanie was always there to support me and make me feel safe. Towards the end of my pregnancy I started to receive a lot of pressure and fear mongering and Melanie was my sounding board and strength during that time when both my husband and I were confused and a bit scared. My labour was fast and intense and Melanie was right there through it guiding my husband which was so useful to him compared to feeling a bit helpless during my previous labours. After our baby was born, Melanie was so incredibly helpful and just a wonderful energy to have around. I was so happy she was there, she made the whole experience calming and positive which is just what I needed to close this chapter of birthing in my life. I can’t recommend Melanie enough!”

Zahra is fantastic at putting you at ease, and is easy to talk to. Each week Zahra talks through with me how I have been since the last session what I think works or did not and she then adjusts the session accordingly. “Recently had an appointment at this doctor's surgery and was seen by Dr Vicky. She was extremely comforting and I felt really listened to and heard. After following her advice, I had to go to a&e (and rightly so as was showing symptoms of a stroke). She since made a follow up appointment with me - to make sure everything was okay and her care and consideration went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a GP. Highly recommend the practice & Dr Vicky. I'm very grateful for her kind and considerate approach in a very stressful situation.”

“With my doctors being part of a large group I get sent to many different ones so this was my first time at Shirley. I’m going to request to make this one my regular one for now on. From the moment I walked through the door, everyone was super friendly, I asked the receptionist if my husband could park his car while I had my appointment and she was so cheerful, it was so refreshing. Most doctors make you feel so dreary to be there. I’m sorry to the receptionist I instantly forgot her name my memory is poor, a mature lady, she has blonde hair and glasses, an asset to the company. I was there for a blood test, I waited longer than usual but in most doctors it’s to be expected. A nurse came out to get me and again, the most wonderful woman greeted me. We had a nice chat, normally nurses or doctors are very formal or just want you gone quickly but this lady was wonderful and can clearly see she’s care about her patients. I asked her name and it was Julia. She looks great in red btw! Makes her pop! anyway all in all fantastic experience, never thought I’d say that about a doctors hahaha”
