“I have been visiting the dwellness room for the last 5 months and I can honestly say it has made such a difference to my life. I feel calmer, less burdened, more confident & more in tune with my thoughts & thought processes. I began with a session roughly once a week & that gradually extended to once a fortnight. Now I visit once a month for "maintenance" & really look forward to my treatments. Initially I was quite nervous as I'd never had reiki before but Helen instantly put me at ease and spent time explaining how reiki works & what she would be doing during the session. I was actually blown away by my first experience! Before each session Helen takes the time to talk about how I am & how I have felt since the last treatment & after each session we discuss the experience. Helen is a very knowledgeable practitioner and has a relaxing and calm manner. The dwellness room is beautiful & peaceful & the treatment bed so comfortable! If you are considering trying reiki I would highly recommend Helen and the dwellness room.”

“Excellent family owned nursery next to two beautiful parks. My daughter has been to 3 different nurseries and this was by far the best (better than Ofsted Outstanding ones too). Staff go above and beyond every day to provide the best possible experience for the children in a safe and fun environment. It's a relatively small nursery and so the children get a lot of attention (and clothing items never get lost!) E.g. they take the kids to the local parks regularly and help organise a birthday party for each child to celebrate with their friends (with games, dancing, face painting etc) which they wouldn't be able to do at home with Covid restrictions. My daughter adores her teachers and has come a long way since she's joined ABC. She made lots of friends, built her confidence and developed important life skills. I couldn't recommend enough!”

“Just for Starters is on the grounds of Four Oaks Primary School. The location proved ideal for our family. The intimate environment immediately appealed and influenced our decision. My granddaughter started aged two, she is now three and the development she has achieved is remarkable. Not only in her expanding language skills and knowledge but also her social abilities—especially her understanding of sharing and caring for other children. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the nursery staff, who collaborate closely with families to ensure the best outcomes for children. The staff and management team consistently uphold a high standard of professional practice. Through the Famly app, parents are kept updated and can observe the engaging and inspiring activities that the children participate in. There are regular opportunities for parents / grandparents to be actively involved in the children’s learning experiences, fostering a strong sense of community. The team is managed with great effectiveness, and every member demonstrates compassion, flexibility and empathy, always with a friendly approach. Their genuine concern extends not only to the children but also to the wider family, which has truly contributed to a powerful sense of belonging. The continuity of the staff team, with no changes during our time at the nursery, provides further reassurance for parents. Ultimately, children themselves are the most honest critics. When my granddaughter returns home from nursery saying she has had a lovely day and is eager to go back again, it is clear that Just for Starters is providing an environment where children are happy, secure and thriving.”

“I expressed to my manager at work ( Waste Industry - HGV driver ) that I would like to take up the offer of supportive counselling . This was in the summer of 2017 . Jan 2017 my Advanced Aggressive Prostate Cancer had spread , very painfully to my spine and also my wife was breaking down . We were already seperated from late 2016 but this put further stress and pressure on me , having two teenage daughters . I received counselling therapy from Adele , a clinical psychologist , who uses the centre . The centre has adequate parking , lovely friendly staff and the room we used , overlooked the busy road . This helped me , as talking about things was not always easy and I used to like watching the world go buy , to help me cope . I did not maximise the therapy time entirely on resolving , Mental Health issues and Adele made this clear in her final report to myself and my company . However the time spent there , helped me cope without burdening my friends or immediate family and the work I did with Adele helped me progress . Also I have the confidence and ability to recognise certain behaviours much sooner . So now I am seeking help with my Hospice , as 2019 was a horrendous year for me , in terms of pain , setbacks to such a degree that recently I was at a point , that I had months left to live . Now , new medication has turned that around , new expensive medication . So hopefully once Covid19 clears , I can begin one to one counselling with someone at the hospice because I have recognised , that I have mild depression . Quite understandable , considering my circumstances , what I have been through , the bigger picture etc . So thank you to everyone at the centre , Karen Barton and of course Adele . I recommend this place wholeheartedly .... Best wishes to Everybody - Kevin - B'ham April 2020”
