“Was referred here for an extraction. I called on Monday and was offered a consultation appointment on Thursday at 5.45pm as there was a cancellation. I was surprised but pleased that they have such late appointments. Also, parking in their car park is free after 5 pm. The staff were really friendly and welcoming throughout. The dentist talked me through everything and answered questions about my teeth. He gave great advice and said he would write to my dentist with recommendations. I got another cancellation and was able to book my extraction for 11 am, the next day. The dentist and nurse were fantastic again, explaining and talking me through everything they did. The extraction was straightforward and didn't take long. The nurse then talked me through the aftercare and answered all my questions. I can not recommend the service at the dental hospital more highly. Thank you to all concerned.”

“Becoming a UoBS student opens up a young persons path in the most incredible way, with the support, expertise and community that UoBS has to offer you really can achieve anything. During my two years of sixth form I engaged with many of these opportunities for example chances to network and familiarise myself in environments that I aspire to find myself in post education, including visits to organisations in Birmingham and London as well as a variety of events and talks at the university; an example the Women in Finance conference. I also had the pleasure of attending a lunch at the House of Lords as a representative of the school. These sorts of experiences are what taking learning beyond the classroom is all about and not the kinds of things accessible to just any organisation. I will be forever grateful to the incredibly dedicated staff who have the most inspiring dedication to not only their subject/ job but for the wellbeing and success of every individual student. “Quite alot of these voi scooters located across the city centre, pretty comfortable ride and quite cool way to get to A TO B. Whether it's going to college, uni, work, you can either pay £40:00 a month for unlimited travel or it works out at 20p a minute if you just want a casual ride around the city, all you have to do is, download the app called VOI, it will find the next closest scooter available to your location you just go pick it up and off you go.”
