“- Visited this place many times, one of my regular place. - Initially I thought its Tea place but its not - Its Asian la - carte restaurant with full menu. All desi food, Karai, grill, curry, Palauo, Biryani etc. available. Their Tawa is famous - Perhaps best desi breakfast in Birmingham. Everything made fresh and no industrial food. Chefs making different types of Paratha in front of you - Nihari, Paya, Saag, hulwa pori - All tasty but Lahori Chanay are exceptional - proper desi food. - Proper Karak Chaii not powdery/machine mix tea. Its cooked fresh and its strong - Their Karahi are fresh (takes more than 30mins after ordering), and I can see when they say lamb its lamb. - Paluo is good, Biryani is okay too (I prefer on bone and more chicken) - Had Maghz and daal mash few times - Its the best desi taste guys. If you like handi with roti - go for it - Their Tawa (mix gril platter with rice, karahi etc) is big sell. The grill is cooked up to good standard and meat/chicken looks fresh. A must try dish - Peri Peri is almost Nados level. But they need consistency, once I was disappointed but generally its good. - They know how to make smosa chaat.. nice! - In dessert, their Rubbery Kheer is something different. Looks like they make it with khoya but its worth trying - Tried Mocktails few times, its top quality, unlike many other places where its all sugar, this one was with nice flavored combination and its very cheap. Same mocktail in London is £8, but this place offers I think £3.95 (double check). - Nice green tea - relax organic which I tried - Overall, one of the best Pakistani restaurant in Birmingham - Ambiance is okay, could do bit better. The place is clean and very nice furniture, lighting is very good too but bit noisy sometime. - Front house staff is just okay, they need to train them. They are friendly but they should be presentable, not is very casual style uniform - Service need improving, waiters are slow sometime but the other time they are good. I guess they need training and quality staff - Pricewise: Its very economical considering a quality food in a nice clean place. They are definitely better than many other Asian restaurant in the area. - Management: Haji Shaib is always welcoming”
