“Absolutely love Chris. My little girl Skye loves him so much and it’s very clear he loves her too and it’s not just a job to him. She’s so excited when he comes to pick her up and I’ve seen her in person out on a walk with him and her friends and she’s a completely different dog. She’s confident and in her own little world. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. The daily emails after a walk with pictures of the walk make me smile. I love seeing her having the time of life. She’s a tiny dog and can be nervous at times with other dogs, but size doesn’t bother her when out with Chris. He’s done amazing to boost her confidence and I really couldn’t ask for anything better. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone”

“Merle has cared for both my Frenchie and my little ratties if I’ve been away. She is very caring and kind and my doggy adores her. I cant even say her name without her diving all over the place! Merle also sends lovely photos to you throughout the day which is a lovely touch. Couldn’t think of anyone better to be a dog walker. Rain or shine she is always there. Thanks x”

“I highly recommend Amy and Country Hounds. She has taken great care to get to know Teddy and has always been extremely professional and reliable. She does everything she can to help at short notice if needed, and always considers the dogs' needs when the weather isn't ideal. She manages to get Teddy surprisingly clean before delivering him home, and he really does love mud and water. Most importantly, Teddy is always excited to see Amy and get in the van. He can be very anxious so this is a real measure of the relationship Amy has built with him.”

“Pippa was great with our two from the moment we booked. Little walks, daycare, and single night stop over to help get to know each other. Then, when the stay came, a good amount of feedback, photos and videos let us know they were enjoying being with her and the other dogs she cared for. Definitely hope to use again next year.”

Richard also looked after our cats when we went on holiday which gave us a great peace of mind as our cats aren’t very sociable but they were able to stay in the comfort of their own home. 10/10 from us!”

They have a back up walker if your walker is off for any reason so your dog doesn't go without a walk. “We attended Teen Terrors with our puppy chihuahua and also had a one to one session for our older terrier cross who has struggled with anxiety/reactivity over the years. Both me and my husband felt so much more confident after working with Jo. She really understands and cares for dogs. We learnt about lead handling and how to use body language to stay connected with your dog. We learnt about the importance of play and giving your dog choices. And we focussed on setting our dogs up for success - choosing the right environment for a walk, eliminating stress etc. We're all now feeling positive and ready to go!”

“After hunting for quite a while for the perfect dog walker for Archie, we found them with houndville! We went into the shop the enquire and was booked in for a meet and greet initially with lea, she came around to our home to meet arch and got on so well with him automatically put us at ease! She explained the start process how to register and talked through his traits! We have been with houndville now for approximately 7 months and love them! Easy booking systems for either morning or afternoon walks and easy payments too bonus that we get snapshots of what he’s been up to through his walk and sometimes a little treat from the bakery too! Phoebe is brilliant with him now and he loves the team and his other doggie friends!”

“We have just collected our dog from Andy’s today after she has spent a week there. This was her first decent stay with him and his family, after having a couple of trial days previously. It’s clear that’s she’s absolutely loved her stay!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the service, and at a very reasonable price too! We’ve had regular updates and it’s been so lovely to hear that she’s had lots of play time with the other dogs and lots of walks, both of which she adores. She was so pleased to see us when she came home but after her tea is now sparko which indicates how much she’s done this week. What a wonderful holiday she’s had!
