“This place is amazing, me and my close uncle David went there not too long ago. The food was a good price for a large portion. The peking rat i ordered was great the texture and taste were to die for. My uncle David couldnt get enough he shoveled it into his mouth without using a knife or fork, i turned to him i said David, what have you Dunn?”

“One of our go to places if we are feeling like a takeaway. Always decent food and the staff are genuinly nice people. They do a decent pizza too and their prices are very reasonable. Its been under the same ownership for as long as I can remember, decades. That tells you something in itself.”

“Just had special curry fried rice, sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong style n pancake rolls. We don't eat takeaways often but everything was bang on, well cooked n loads of meat, definitely be going again, cheers”

“Tried this place for the first time today and it was really nice. I had the chicken gyozas and they were cooked how I liked them, crispy. I also had the Thai green curry and it was really flavourful, plenty of spice and chicken/vegetables. All tasted fresh. Would definitely order again.”

We went in on the Sunday night of the Saltaire festival and the guy that was working there (ahhh we asked his name but didn’t write it down so sadly we have forgotten his name!) was just SO lovely! His customer service skills stood out in a day and age where sadly customer service skills are lacking in many, many establishments. He was friendly and chatty and genuinely looked happy to be there in his place of work. 10/10 We look forward to popping in again.”

“I ordered a king prawn Tika for starter and it was delicious, cooked perfectly. I had two lamb dishes, one was a masala and the other cooked with spinach. Both were really tasty and the lamb was tender. I would recommend this place to anyone 100% . My new favourite place to go. For years I've gone to Akbars in Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford..this was much better.”

“Customer service was on point, shelves were stacked up, everything was in order, very hygienic, butchers section staff was polite and served me with respect and all the products were fresh, one staff member in particular, the young boy communicated with me with a lot of respect and gave me what i wanted, he was kind and polite and lady at front till was polite i recommend everyone to go to this store. “Here for the night waiting on an early flight. Was recommended the chipshop. But was queue down the road. Stumbled on this quiet Turkish place. Food outstandingly nice. Service attentive. They sold Efes beer. Reminds me of my home in Cyprus. The prawn and feta was just as I remember it. Gyros was moist and tasty. Well recommended place for something Mediterranean”

“Came to Halifax for the day from a week's holiday in Hebden Bridge. Came for late lunch/early dinner and was pretty empty. A few of our party went for the 2 courses for £18 which was good value. We had the mozzarella sticks which are always a crowd pleaser. The beef tacos were really tasty with great crunch from the pomegranate seeds - a lot more filling than expected. The chicken fajitas were also full of flavour. Good pints of Sam Adams. We had a gluten free member and the staff were extremely accommodating (bringing the manager over to take their order specifically felt slightly too much but we understand why). Overall a really great meal, despite no tequila and it feeling like there was an earthquake every 5 mins (assuming the cinema was the culprit!).”
