“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for their special Valentine’s set menu, and it was a truly delightful experience. Each course was delicious. We had calamari and prawns to start, gnocchi with seabass for me and for my wife the lobster ravioli. My son loves the fudge cake and ice cream. The staffs were attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.”

“My partner and I drove from Scunthorpe to try this place and we’re glad we did! I love Thai food and this place was fantastic, the atmosphere is so cosy and the staff were all very kind and the right level of attentive, the food was delicious and we’ll be coming back soon to try other things! We usually always order the same foods but looking at their specials we’re coming back specifically to ‘push the boat out’ a little because they sounded great! Price was more than reasonable for what we could tell was all fresh home-style cooking, even the sauces were homemade and fresh, and it doesn’t feel loud or cramped in their either. Would highly recommend to Thai food lovers and anyone wanting to try something new, you won’t regret it, do book if you want to go though as they were full for our whole meal! And it was a Tuesday, without a booking I doubt that you’ll get in on the busier days of the week”

The owner’s lovely mother came and spoke to us about the history of the restaurant and we felt so welcomed and at home. The inside decor was beautiful and the lovely waitress who saw to us was amazing too. Could not ask for a better overall experience! Thank you.”

“Followed these guys over the area & never had a bad meal. Went last night for my daughter's birthday with our 2 grandchildren & got a variety of dishes that we could all try. Food was plentiful & came out piping hot. The guys who own this are all very friendly & all like to have a chat when we go in. It's our go to for Bangladeshi food whether it's takeaway or sit in. We are always made to feel so welcome. Tried many dishes off the menu (I am trying to work my way through it!) & never had a bad meal yet. Even when we've had takeaway delivered it's always piping hot when it arrives.”

“We have just enjoyed a takeaway meal for my Grandsons 16th birthday. We all chose different appetisers , main courses and a variety of Rice. We had the smaller portions which were perfect. We all swapped tasters and a great time was had by all. Every mouthful of every dish was absolutely superb and we certainly will use Atiyas for our next celebratory takeaway.”

Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. “While we were in the area we booked for a birthday, after a recommendation and can only say we are so grateful. From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

“Clarks - wow! What an amazing find, worth a trip to Scarborough alone! From the understated exterior to the paired back interior, the focus is on service and food and Clarks delivers both in spades. We had the risotto “the best risotto i’ve ever had” and the Clarks Surf n Turf - an 8oz filet ( m rare ) and a half lobster. The steak was melt in the mouth delicious and the lobster - SO fresh, SO delicious. I think i could eat here every night and never become bored. An awesome place i implore everyone to visit. There’s also a free car park nearby in case Scarboros one Uber driver is busy. Essential 5*”

“A fabulous place to go if your looking for authentic Chinese hot pot and grill. Good menu range of dishes to choose from. Far different to the usual Chinese take away menu. Really tasty food and good portion sizes. You get plenty for your money. We will definitely be returning and making this one of the top places to eat out. We went during the week so it was quiet but welcoming just the same. Maybe some low playing tranquil or asia music in the background would make the atmosphere even better if possible.”

“Have ordered from this takeaway for the last 7 years and wouldn't risk using anywhere else. The food is consistently good and equal to any good Chinese sit in restuarant. Never had a bad order from them yet. We always order and found delivery time good and if they are busy they are honest and inform you of the expected waiting time . Once we were passing so ordered to pick up and was pleased to see that you could see them preparing the food in the kitchen and all appeared spotlessly clean. I dont usually leave reviews but thought after so many nice weekend meals watching a movie Sunny Garden deserved a few minutes of my time.”
