“Really loved this beautiful theatre. The performance was truly amazing. Congratulations to all the performers of Handel Acis & Galatea, especially Robert Slater. Staff friendly and helpful.”
“Great facility, lots of space and possibly the largest passenger lift I have ever been in, clean and with many facilities. Although I will admit I didn't try the cafe”
“All new seating. Love the new vibe”
“Always a lovely experience! Shows a great mix of interesting films in comfortable surroundings - highly recommended”
“Good screens, good popcorn and even better drinks (the Icee drinks are great). The screens are all very good, I went to screen 2 and screen 4 for different films, and even though screen 4 has less seats, the screen was just as good quality as the bigger theatre of screen 2. Great experience, lots of fun”
“Went to see the Rock orchestra by candlelight highly recommend Really impressed haven't been for a few years The one downside it's cashless which I don't agree with Plenty of on street parking free after 6 pm Overall a good experience”
“Lovely old Victorian architecture and ample seating. A great place to relax and see a show. Friendly staff and a good variety of snacks and drinks available. Please may I say a special thank you to the female usher with the short hair who was kind enough to assist me on Saturday 6th December at the 2pm pantomime performance (Peter pan) I was embarrassingly overcome by a fear of heights and she was so compassionate and understanding and found me and my family new seats. Thank you so much to this member of staff who is a credit to the Devonshire.”
“Lovely atmosphere. Great staff and a really nice little bar area. A proper local theatre with history that's looked after and cared for. Looking forward to coming back again.”
“Wow what a fantastic evening, not only the great venue Whitstable Castle and the great acting, which had everybody in stitches, but the brilliant way they incorporated my marriage proposal into their act. Hooked on Morlington Murders.”
“Great place for watching a bit of theatre or a decent tribute band. Good choice of drinks and a few snacks. Intimate setting but great fun.”
