“A really great experience. The guys were friendly and really helpful - I don't know if they are the owners or employees but if they are employees they deserve a raise. We booked for an hour and they do a great job with the tutorial, understanding your level of experience and offering you a range of games to try. They also weren't stingy with time, they gave us the tutorial in VR and then an hour. They also said we could have more time (I think because it was quiet) but we were tired out. I will be recommending this place to friends and family. If you haven't done VR - do it here first.”

“We did the behind the scenes tour today. What an amazing place! One of the best bits of Birmingham history that we should all know about and definitely fight to preserve. It was so good to hear the origin story of the Electric and to think about all it's gone through since 1909... and it was particularly brilliant to see original features and equipment and poke around in the basement... If you love cinema and love Birmingham then the Electric tour is a must”

“Watched The Avatar at Everyman Cinema and the sound and screen quality were excellent, which really made the experience enjoyable. The visuals and music came through beautifully. Lee and his team are friendly and thorough in what they do and the venue is prefect for intimate screenings, they also host events, as well as being a local cinema where you can see some less obvious choices.”

“As a limitless customer for over 2 years now we do visit this cinema a lot and I must say the whole experience is fantastic. It looks very futuristic inside and being a luxe offers that extra level of comfort whilst watching your film. The screen s are huge and the sound quality is great too. The staff are very friendly and polite and the toilets are very clean indeed. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area and want to watch a movie. There is also 3 hours of free parking which is a big car park underneath the cinema itself. Just make sure you validate your car registration when you are in the cinema. Highly recommended”

“Wanted to see Wicked part 2 but all the cinemas local to me only had late evening showings - this one turned out to be closer to my work place and had far more regular showings which made it perfect for an after work trip. Comfortable seats with a recline feature which felt like a special treat and the whole cinema was very clean and well kept. Would love to come back.”

“I recently went to Cineworld to watch Demon Slayer in 4D, and it was one of the most exciting cinema experiences I’ve ever had. If you’ve never tried 4D before, I can’t recommend it enough – it completely changes how you watch a film. The seats move with the action, and you feel every battle strike, sword clash, and fast-paced chase scene. There were bursts of air, vibration effects, and even splashes of mist that made the intense moments even more immersive. The cinema itself was clean and well-kept, and the staff were helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were quick with ticket checks and snack service, and everything ran smoothly. The seats were comfortable despite the motion, and they were positioned perfectly to give a great view of the screen. Watching Demon Slayer this way made it feel like I was right there fighting alongside Tanjiro and the rest of the characters. The sound was loud and crisp without being overwhelming, and the visuals were stunning – every detail of the animation really popped on the big screen. Snacks and drinks were fresh, with plenty of options to choose from, and the ability to book online made the whole process super convenient. Overall, this was a five-star experience and easily the best way to watch a high-action anime film. I’ll definitely be coming back to Cineworld for more 4D movies in the future – it’s absolutely worth it!”

“Very good customer service. The showing that we was going to see was not working. The manager offered us another time showing of the movie and gave us a drink and snack whilst we waited, for the inconvenience. It was quiet Friday around 4pm. The cinema was clean and friendly staff.”

“Mark and his team had previously installed flatscreen TVs and hidden wiring at our previous house, and when we moved, he suggested upgrading to a control 4 system. We went ahead and had Cinema room created with control 4 and 5.1 surround sound. This was also linked to Alexa so that it became voice controlled. We are now able to walk into the Cinema room and say “Alexa turn on cinema room “, the curtains close, the lights dim and the Cinema system opens up ready to go on the Sky homepage menu. We were so impressed that we then had Smart Home and Cinema install a second Cinema system in another room. Mark and his team are extremely knowledgeable and technically savvy, they are polite efficient and having obtained other quotes, came in at a competitive price. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a home cinema installation and, if we move again, we would certainly call them in.”
