“I saw the awesome performance of I like Sherlock Holmes last week. Brilliant performance all around, I thought that Dr Watson and miss Latham in particular we’re excellent. Despite being slightly hard of hearing I could hear the whole thing and I was very impressed. My only criticism would not be of the play but the interval snacks, The squash was a little bit over strong, and I would’ve preferred more premium ice creams as opposed to Asda own. I look forward to seeing the next performance.”

“Superb place for a celebration, ours was a birthday celebration. Views are amazing but a wee bit misty when we visited. Food is fantastic from the scallops and brie starters though the two brilliant steaks to a cheese cake sweet. A superb night. Highly recommended.”

“Went on Heritage week, booked tickets for talk and tour, excellent afternoon, had talk, hands on session and outside walk. Guide very informative and gave lots of info on history and archaeology of place”

“We had a wonderful birthday treat for the kids at this amazing venue. The jump area was enormous, giving the children plenty of space to play and burn off energy. As a family, we enjoyed some quality time together, playing Ghostbusters and Angry Birds on the virtual reality system, which was incredibly fun and immersive. The kids absolutely loved their unlimited slushies, which kept them refreshed throughout the visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re definitely planning to come back again soon!”

“Having visited here several times, today was the first time I properly engaged with the staff. It was immediately apparent how convivial and relaxed the staff are. Engaging, friendly, and professional, the staff made me feel welcome, appreciated and recognised. Claire informs me she opened this pub, a fair few moons ago. Her able assistants include Tayla, Carl, and more whose names I’ve yet to learn. The beer is on top form. Perfectly conditioned, poured and priced. Up til now, I’ve made this an occasional drop-in point, yet I’ll up my frequency, for what is the best Wetherspoons pub for miles around. The model for what a local pub should be.”
