“I was cycling along the Bristol Road when I hit a stone and my bike fell into the road. The owner of the cafe ran straight over with a first aid kit and offered to help. I was shaken up but didn't feel I needed medical attention so she invited us into the cafe to recover. She very kindly made myself and my partner a cup of tea and was very friendly. I had visited the cafe years ago and could see that it had been refurbished to a very high standard and was clean and inviting. After drinking our tea and having a lovely chat with the owner, we went to pay and she would not accept. This was incredibly heart warming and such a lovely gesture. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend Zubs for cleanliness, great food and a warm and friendly atmosphere!”

“I had a Sunday roast here, the seared chicken breast with extra gammon. They were offering gammon or turkey as an extra with your roast if you so wish to. I have to say the roast was unreal, one of the best I’ve ever had, everything about it was just exceptional. We were seated in the lovely conservatory area and experienced a fantastic service by the staff who were friendly and attentive. A special mention to Caitlin for serving us today! The atmosphere here is lovely, no loud music or anything like that, just a good old pub atmosphere. What a lovely old pub it is, it’s in a great location next to the River Avon and has a nice contrast of old and new. It’s clean and tidy which is a credit to the staff here, well worth the visit.”

“Oh my goodness what a fabulous place. We had our hen weekend at this amazing property and all our guesrs were suitably impressed. The luxury shines through and there is everything here you could wish for. A great party house for larger gatherings that will accommodate your needs. Lovely garden with hot tub that is secluded and private. Far reaching veiws but house still has a homely feel. Would definitely recommend and owner is a perfect host with nothing too much trouble. Do rent this property you will not be disappointed.”

“Nick was recommended to us through a tradesman, when we needed someone to help us with unexpected work in a building project for our house. The work included fitting new skirting boards, moving our wooden kitchen surface up by a few centimetres (we had a new floor fitted and the appliances no longer fitted under the kitchen surface) and a few other bits. It was actually a really tricky job because we live in a 1930s house, none of the floors are level and the walls aren't straight. Nick provided us with an extremely competitive quote. He worked until late at night some days, at no extra cost, when he hit issues (normally relating to our uneven floor). His work was really high quality and he obviously takes great pride in precision. He provided us with advice and options. He cleaned the work space every day and left it in a great condition. I couldn't fault his work, it really was excellent. Highly recommended. Thank you Nick for your professionalism. We plan to use him again.”

“Timbercraft are a local independent family-run company specialising in fitted kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and home office furniture. The Keynsham showroom displays a number of Second Nature fitted kitchens with some very clever storage ideas like the Le Mans unit, pull-out larders and baskets, pan drawers and plate racks. Laid back, relaxed surroundings to browse around in with friendly showroom staff on hand to offer help and advice should you need it.”

“I have to post a review about this store because I'm flabbergasted at some of the 1⭐'s people have posted. My son,(extra olives &double cheese) loves the staff at this subway. I have been in a few times to get his subway and they know me because of his order. They are very kind, very polite and always give him the extra he asks for. I filled out a review from the website on the receipt, and they read it. The next time he went in, they gave him a footlong instead of his usual 6". Correct me if I'm wrong but does that sound "rude, impolite or disinterested"? In my experience the sort of people who leave 1⭐ reviews because of some misconceived slight, and possibly do hardworking people out of business, are rude, sad and impolite themselves. The staff are lovely The food is fresh and plentyful. Don't pay attention to the 1⭐'s.”
