“Great creative university. With fantastic facilities for all your creative needs.”
“Amazing nursery My daughters were in a adventurous room.lovely staff and great people”
“Simply Amazing! The most difficult thing I've ever had to do in life...Crown Guardians have made this the most comforting and trusting experience ever.”
“This notification suggests this is about the café inside the reception area of Bath College, although the part I'm filling in gives no clues... So I'll review both: Briefly, although it's a little disorganised, everyone's very friendly and they make a big effort to be helpful and fix things, and they're good at finding the staff responsible for the area of concern. As a brief look around the library confirms the academic range & depth is deliberately limited to concentrate on introductions to specific subjects, so they can concentrate on helping in very specific ways and not get bogged down. They have an impressive range of services not related to coursework, to support students, including help with health, finance, travel to the campus, and any other barriers to learning; and this goes beyond and in addition to the usual public services. Eg, if you can get help with a disability on the NHS but have to wait a bit longer than practical, you can get that help a lot faster as a student. A local student pass also gives you discounts at businesses outside the college, and qualifies you for NUS membership, which gives you an even better range of discounts, eg on Amazon products, and the student edition of software licences. The discounts and services do not discriminate, so you're eligible for support & subsidiaries outside the days/hours you normally attend, and the subject areas you're studying. Back to the café area: There's a café atmosphere in the reception part for meetings etc, with a counter service, and that's very light & spacious, with comfortable seats & tables, and a high quality & range of food & drinks. There is also a section serving meals, although that's currently restricted due to infection control and improvement work.”
“Delicious gluten-free bread and English breakfast! The cafe had such a nice ambience, and you can see the abbey from the window. As a vegan Celiac, I was very content.”
“The instructors (Jenny & Harold) created wonderful energy and there was enthusiasm across the room from people who’d been initially sceptical and had no experience of swing. We came away far more knowledgeable and skilled than when we started.”
“Craig is an excellent Saxophone Teacher. His passion and motivation is second to none. I have learnt so much from him, his lessons are very informative and he has a great sense of humour which he definitely needs with me! I would highly recommend him to any future saxophonists.”
“I'm really enjoying my language journey with Todo el Mundo! As an adult learner, I like the small group setting and learning from a native Spanish speaker. The resources are great and it's helpful to have online catch-ups available. I also enjoy the added option of social activities.”
“My family and I stayed here the night before my wedding. Debbie and Nigel were the loveliest hosts and added so many special touches to my room and in the morning Debbie was totally happy with all my bridesmaids and makeup team decending on the dining room! The rooms and are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious! I really reccomend staying here. I know I'll come back with my new husband!”
“I moved over from Belfast to the Bath area in late 2022 and immediately became a member at Lansdown Tennis Club. Since then I have had both group and individual coaching with Bluesky Tennis. The coaches have all been very friendly, attentive and welcoming. They provide individual feedback and make the lessons fun and helpful. I look forward to each session!”
“Lovely venue in the heart of the uni. We attended an IChemE water conference there. Tricky to park nearby to load and unload expo kit.”
“I am just about to enroll my third child into Little Willows nursery. A new nursery has opened much closer to me but I still want to make the journey across town to Little Willows because I know and trust them and can't fault the way they run the place and what they have done for our children so far. All the staff are polite and friendly and seem to love working there. They are all friends with each other and that really creates a great atmosphere. I value their opinion and often ask them over my health visitor!! They were as excited as my family were when we told them no.3 was on the way! Very flexiable - you can move or add days if there is availability. They really get to know your children and how to handle them to help them grow. Thank you Little Willows! Keep up the good work x”
“We've sent 2 children to Neston farm, both with very different personalities. They have both thrived. Huge outdoor space. Great food. They spend time outside as often as they can, in every weather. The staff are really attentive and go above and beyond to anticipate the kids needs. Staff seem to enjoy their jobs. Would highly recommend.”
