“I took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”
“Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.”
“For the price that I’ve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5£ and luggage storage 2£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.”
“What a wonderful place for little ones to have fun! Today was our first session at the play hub and we loved it! I have a two year old, but it’s suitable for younger babies and toddlers alike. Such a lovely, open and safe space for little ones to play freely with lots of different sensory bits and pieces as well as a little sandpit, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself! Hot drinks are served in spill proof flasks, which is perfect keeping the little ones safe and there’s a great menu for little ones, with lots of options to choose from for a lovely little lunch! Also a lovely selection for the adults too! I will definitely return for another play session in the future!”
“Southside soft play is an amazing place to take toddlers and have breakfast/snack and coffe while they play!! The staff are very friendly and helpful great for mums and dads with toddlers or just wanting a chat with other parents!!!”
“I am just about to enroll my third child into Little Willows nursery. A new nursery has opened much closer to me but I still want to make the journey across town to Little Willows because I know and trust them and can't fault the way they run the place and what they have done for our children so far. All the staff are polite and friendly and seem to love working there. They are all friends with each other and that really creates a great atmosphere. I value their opinion and often ask them over my health visitor!! They were as excited as my family were when we told them no.3 was on the way! Very flexiable - you can move or add days if there is availability. They really get to know your children and how to handle them to help them grow. Thank you Little Willows! Keep up the good work x”
“We've sent 2 children to Neston farm, both with very different personalities. They have both thrived. Huge outdoor space. Great food. They spend time outside as often as they can, in every weather. The staff are really attentive and go above and beyond to anticipate the kids needs. Staff seem to enjoy their jobs. Would highly recommend.”
“Steve recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us and we could not be happier. We’ve used Steve’s services for many years now and never been less than satisfied with any job he has done for us. Steve is an expert at what he does and will always give you honest guidance and advice on the best way to use your space. He’s reliable, trustworthy, friendly and always on time. Cannot recommend more highly and definitely worthy of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks Steve. Lisa and Ant.”
“A beautiful spot to tour and relax in Bath. The entrance is an easy bus ride or an uphill walk. Staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. I went at opening time and had the place mostly to myself for a bit and it never became crowded. The walk around the park is nice and worth doing, but not a must-do. My favorite part was sitting in on the reclining chairs reading and enjoying the view and the birds.”
“My mini struggled with transition and just didn't settle well at his previous setting , moved to greenshoots and best decision . They supported him exactly as I hoped at the right pace for him and his needs , staff were nurturing ,professional, knowledgeable about additional needs and fun . They treated them as their own and truly enjoy their job mad as a box of frogs the kids love their enthusiasm for dressing up ,creative games and gusto they have . All this combined made my little ones time there amazing he loved it and them.He came out of his shell started talking more he made more friends and they supported him in his goals. Communication was effective between home and pre school I always felt informed ,involved and supported with school transitions ehcp etc . Would highly recommend if your looking for a family feel, somewhere the kids are able to explore ,learn get muddy and have fun and be themselves.”
“Beautiful setting and really caring and dedicated staff. We felt very supported with helping our two sons settle and thrive here.”
“Fabulous nursery and preschool. Would highly recommend it. Welcoming and family like in its environment and ethos. My son thrived here.”
“Anne provides a superb Montessori childcare and educational setting, just the right level of focus & cosy warmth, and well worth the daily drive from Bristol.”
“Great nursery with a great team!”
“Simply the best pre-school in Bath. Run by passionate committed staff - the children love it. The kids come out happy, confident & enthusuastic little people :)”
“My daughter attends this preschool. She is nervous of change and starting preschool was hard for her. The staff were amazing. We could not have asked for more from her key worker, they have a lovely relationship. Now she is happy and confident and looks forward to preschool days. She comes home covered in sand, mud, paint, glitter etc. Just as it should be. They have access to the school grounds which is amazing. I challenge you to find a preschool with more green space!”
“First Steps Moorlands is a reputable pre-school / nursery I love my son to attend”
“We couldn't recommend this nursery more. Our eldest child is now in the pre-school room having attended since he was 12 months and our youngest also recently started in the baby room when she turned one. We have enjoyed watching them both flourish under the care of all of the staff at all levels and stages of their nursery journey. They know each child so well and take care to listen to both the children and the parents. The variety of activities, experiences and day trips is excellent and they are constantly working to improve indoor and outdoor facilities. They also offer a farm school experience for over 3s at their sister nursery which our son loves. The menu is excellent. The leadership and communication is very strong.”
“A beautiful setting for a fantastic school.”
“Caring staff who have done a really good job with my 2 year old boy. I couldn’t recommend Atelier highly enough.”
“Our son is very happy at Kingswood. The school has a wonderful, committed, a beautiful environment (both natural and built) and inspires the children in their learning, play and development in all respects. Overall excellence and well deserving of 5*”
