“Fortunately we visited on a gloriously sunny day in early March. We found a table outside and ordered coffee, bacon and sausage sarnies and Welsh cakes. Service was quick. The staff were friendly. The food was good. The coffee was strong. No complaints from me.”

“Ordered pizzas and sides for a large group of people late at night, thinking they were open until in the early hours of last Sunday night. When we arrived to the store to collect the pizzas the doors were still open, it was already 23:20 and the staff informed they close at 23:00 but they still took the order we made online. He was kind about the situation and still made fresh pizzas for us. Thank you for your service!”

“Pizza Pronto catered our event over the weekend and we just had to leave a review. Jac and the team did an amazing job creating a fantastic atmosphere turning an ordinary venue into what felt like a bustling Italian street party. The team’s ability to churn out pizzas without any diminishing quality is truly admirable. The chefs provided a set menu with an amazing selection of pizzas plus also let guests modify and remove toppings when requested.”

“We have been here a few times and never had a bad meal. We recently came on Saturday 15th and had a chicken curry and a lamb curry both with 3 sides each. Both meats fell apart and melted in your mouth! All the sides were delicious too, the pineapple salsa is Devine! We came again tonight and had a mid week roast, 1 beef and 1 belly pork, omg the dinners were both amazing and would recommend to anybody! Simon and his mum are a true vibe whilst waiting for the food to be dished up! We will be back soon, thank you!”

“Booked last minute for an early table on new years eve, before a visit to the glee club in Cardiff - all I can say is WOW the food is incredible!!! first time here but def wont be the last, the BEST tsatsiki ive ever had in the uk - everything was tasty & very well presented - we were even given complimentary baklava which was also delicious! We will definitely return :)”

“Sadly just outside of the delivery range but the food is certainly good enough to merit collection. Food was ready to be collected after 20 minutes on a Sunday, definitely faster than delivery would of been. Surprise of the order was the 'noodles, chips & sauce' selected their sweet & sour and it was really nice to go with the mains. The Salt, chili and pepper chicken and double cooked pork in spicy yellow bean sauce were both really good too.”

“Cracking little pub and has turned around from previous visits. Staff are very friendly and even allowing changes to meals as I don't like BBQ sauce so swapped to hot sauce for my hunters chicken. Very good value for money and a reasonable pace for food. Look forward to my next visit”

“We didn’t eat in the restaurant however we stayed in one of the pods and they were gorgeous! such lovely little rooms with everything you need, a massive double bed, a nice shower and a smart TV. It was worth every penny and we will be back again!”

“Staff so friendly. Slight mistake with our order (dine in), but it was easily sorted. Word of advice, the portions are pretty big, be careful when you order. Food was good too. If I'm ever back in Cardiff again, I'll stop by.”

“We go to codmeston cafe regularly and have always been warmly welcomed even though I have a muzzled. Sometimes reactive to strangers dog. I recently read a review on here that said dogs were unwelcome when muddy and that the staff were rude, so I was reluctant to take my wet, muddy girl in - but it was raining hard, so I went for it. The second we walked through the door, my dog ran over to the manager and was greeted with such a huge welcome that (although she’s usually reactive with strangers) she was totally won over. The lady (who I later found out was the manager called Emma if my memory serves me correctly) was fussing her, tickling her tummy. Laughing and simply gave us the warmest welcome we could ever hope for. My girl had sausages and I had a toasted tea coke and the experience was lovely. I absolutely have to dispute any review which speaks negatively of dogs in the cafe. My experience couldn’t have been further from it.”

“Great venue for Live shows, I went to see the Darts Legend. The big names and celebrities of Darts were all there.. it was like a kid in a sweet shop for me.. Lovely place and organisers.”
