Adriana especially is fantastic, I drive 45 minutes each way because I don’t trust anyone else. She understands how nervous I get and always makes me feel at ease. It would be easy to move locally but I wouldn’t want to risk losing the great service!”

“I tried this dentist after my own in Cwmbran could not fit me in. I saw a Spanish lady and her assistant at the time (Nov 2013). I had been experiencing a lot of pain over the weekend so was very pleased that they could fit me in on the following Monday. My appointment was scheduled for 11 but I did not go in to see the dentist until 11:30 but I was not too worried about this as they had made an effort to squeeze me in. Within a few minutes of seeing the dentist, she suggested I had an abscess and then did four x-rays on my teeth which confirmed this. I was given a course of anti-biotic which she prescribed, and told me to return the following week. I was very surprised again that I was attended to within a week, which in my current practice would not have happened. I was very grateful to both the dentist and her assistant who made me feel very relaxed and at ease, considering the pain I was in. The following week my abscess had gone so I did not require any additional treatment. I found all the staff to be very professional. Following the treatment I have registered to ask when positions become available I wished to transfer from my Cwmbran practice to The Gaer practice even though I lived close to Cwmbran as I gained a lot of confidence from the Spanish dentist and her assistant.”

“Cannot speak highly enough of this dental practice from receptionists to dentist and nurse. I have been with Mr Hawkins for years and he also looked after my 2 children when they lived local. He has always been kind, helpful with the utmost professional care. Had to have an emergency appointment as i have broken a tooth and was in excruciating pain. The care they gave was exceptional. Everything was explained upfront including cost which is very reasonable. Best dentist ever.”

Firstly, the receptionist was friendly and accommodating over the phone and got me in for an emergency appointment with the dentist, Ayse/Aisha within a couple of hours. On arrival, the receptionist was welcoming and approachable. When i was called through, the dentist was caring and empathetic with my situation, she listened to me and could see the pain I was in. She offered her own advice and talked me through options and then continued to carry out treatment to help me. After having some bad experiences in the past with other dentists and practices, as well as being a generally nervous patient, this dentist and practice has restored my faith in good quality care and I am very grateful for it.”
