“Gorgeous food, beautiful decor. Chef tweaked my pasta to add some N'duja to it as I love a bit of spice. The dessert was simply stunning! My friend has a pizza which looked delicious. My only complaint, the pasta portion was on the smaller side which would have been fine if it came with salad.”

“We went here for pancake day & after initially being a little worried we loved it. When we walked in it was a little tatty, a window was missing, patches in ceiling, and a few dirty plates left out on empty tables. We were a little worried that we weren’t going to enjoy ourselves. But our server showed us to the table and the rest of the resultant and bar was beautifully decorated. We had really really amazing service from our server, considering she seemed to be the only person serving everyone at the time. We ordered 3 lots of pancakes and a chip butty. All of the food was absolutely amazing. We were stuffed! The plate of chips was huge, and the bread lovely! The pancakes were SO soft and fluffy, and such good value for money! There was so much food! The Cath Kidston glasses and mugs were so cute too! The kids really enjoyed the decor and we all had a good laugh at the private toilet party. On the way out I spotted a sign about refreshing some areas so I guess that explains the slightly tired looking entrance. Honestly we had a lovely time and can’t wait to come back. Probably the best pancakes we’ve ever had and the server was just so friendly, she’s a real credit to the place!”

“Regency Flowers is hands-down the best flower shop in town! The staff are always so welcoming and go above and beyond to help. If they don’t have what I need in stock, they’re happy to order it in—nothing is ever too much trouble. Their knowledge of plants is incredible, and I’m constantly picking their brains for tips and advice! It’s become my go-to place for all things floral and green. Plus, according to my little girl, they have the best chocolate around—so it’s a win for both of us!”

Since my mother had a huge passion for flower arranging in the past I was hoping to find a florist that would make a spectacular job of the flower arrangements at our wedding but also take into consideration our budget. Cindy at Pure Botanics definitely achieved this goal. At the consultation she was very helpful at helping us decide how the final arrangements could look so we did not feel overwhelmed by the choices we had to make. I was also very taken by Cindy’s selection for bridal bouquets which all made elegant statements. On the day, I was mesmerised by how beautiful the roses in the bouquets were. The rest of the display at the venue also looked spectacular. I would highly recommend the flower decorated candelabras for guest table decorations as they are simply elegant.”

“Called in for brunch on a bank holiday. The staff were very friendly and efficient, We had our dog with us and they gave her a treat. A fantastic pot of real loose leaf tea, which tasted delicious, along with a full English breakfast.”
