“I ordered a collection from here on Saturday night. Unfortunately I bought it home and fell asleep. I ate the lamb tikka biryani the next day and boy was it still full of flavour. The lamb was tender and perfectly spiced. Even after a night in the fridge it was not dry at all. The sauce was exactly how I wanted after making a slight change to the order. I can only imagine how good it would have tasted fresh. Would definitely order again and try the rest of the menu. Keep up the work lads”

“I have been a regular customer for China Garden for over 6 years now. The food never fails and is perfect every single time. My go to order, is a chicken chow mein and bbq ribs and it tastes amazing every time. The food is consistent and the variety is great. I have tried other places and they can’t compete and don’t compare with this takeaway. The service is always 10/10 and they are very warm and welcoming. I can tell they take great pride and have great passion about what they do. I will always recommend China Garden to family and friends.”

“We've joked about finding the 'Hidden Hut' cafe a few times but have eventually found it and dined at it on our recent club ride. It's a hidden gem out in the Grandborough countryside in Warwickshire. It's located amongst stables and looks like the smallest cafe you've ever seen, inside what looked like a travelers caravan. Nonetheless they provided an excellent service and I was surprised that all our food and drink came out of that small unit. There's plenty of outside seating alongside the fields where plenty of young horse riders were going through their paces. Clearly there's no seating indoors and I expect you wouldn't want to be sat outside on a less than sunny day. On this occasion it was a sunny day and our mid ride cafe stop at this hidden gem was perfect.”

“We came here for the first time having come for a walk and we were really hungry! We used the lift to get upstairs which was quite honestly terrifying, only to find out you can enter via the slope at the top The ladies were so nice and made sure we had a good table with our buggy. Way more choice then we thought I had a jacket potato with cheese and tuna My husband a burger, food was nice, burger quite expensive but it did look good when it came and the chips, salad and onion rings were yummy Service was brilliant very quick and friendly There is lots of adverts for organised events and walks etc.”

“Despite growing up in the area this was my first "proper" time at The George and, have to say, first impressions were very good. Light, bright decor inside with plenty of seating options, including a dedicated dining area for meals and a spacious beer garden. Good atmosphere inside, with relaxing selection of background music that wasn't so loud as to be intrusive. Service was brilliant throughout, from the bright, friendly greeting on our arrival to the attentive staff looking after us during meal. Food allergy advised at time of booking was reiterated by the staff when taking our orders, which was reassuring. And, on the subject of the meal, the food was excellent - good portion sizes, very tasty and reasonably priced too. Everyone in our group was very happy with what they had. Would definitely recommend and, although we don't really get out much, we'll definitely be back.”

“Great pub located close to the canal, really friendly owner, allowed us to wash our clothes in the washing machine for a fair price. The food was great pub food, came out quickly, well priced. The drinks are priced well also. If you're coming through on a canal boat there is a mooring nearby so you can stop and eat/drink. They also have facilities for people in motorhomes to park up and stay for the night, really accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”

“Ordered the Crispy Shredded Beef and it was absolutely spot on. Perfectly crispy, full of flavour and not greasy at all — exactly how it should be. The sauce was rich and balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and a little kick. Portion size was generous and everything arrived hot and fresh. One of the best Chinese takeaways in Rugby. Will definitely order again!”

Coming from a South Asian background, this cuisine tasted like with what I'd expect from my mother's cooking and hence I was compelled to leave a review! Shout out to the chef for his culinary skills and the front of house for their outstanding hosting and hospitality! Definitely coming back again......”

Delicious Bangladeshi food, nothing standard here all homemade and delicious, an owner who really cares and entertains through your meal, i can't recommend this place enough, we will be back when next in the area!”

“Staff members were so friendly. Especially the waiting staff you meet for breakfast, one in particular Caroline and Anna the cook. They both had the time to interact with my partner, myself and our 2 year old son. Caroline even came and sat with us and told us to go get some breakfast while she helped feed our son, gave him colouring pencils, drew with him getting to know new names etc .. Anna who is Polish I think she would always greet our son with “good morning, baba!” Since we’re now back home our son has never forgotten and he would run up and say mummy Anna says “good morning, baba!” Next door to Premier Inn there is TGI FRIDAYS. We got our dinner in there on the last night. Food was amazing 10/10 but expensive. Make sure if you eat here and you’re staying at the Premiere Inn next to it you tell the staff to get 20% off. Location isn’t bad up the road you have McDonald’s and Asda. Although it wasn’t easy to find Asda but after a few tries of searching and getting lost we found it lol. Other than that it’s a great place to stay 10/10 No noise, beds were so comfortable, top notch.”

“Really good family pub. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I’m particularly impressed and I am here. Ticks all the boxes, play area, colouring and crayons for the kids. A decent pint, nice traditional but well kept decor with indoor and outdoor background music. The food is really good and incredibly cheap & great value. The icing on the cake is the staff and service. Young well mannered and helpful people who are a credit to the establishment. Well done, We’l definitely be back.”
