“I love this school wonderful teaching”
“Great location and facility for life sciences research.”
“This is a great school, If you are looking at going into any type of engineering you should go here, mechanical, design, computers, electrical you name it and you can do it here. you go on lots of trips and there's even a greenpower team. it makes it even better that they are partners with JLR(jaguar landrover), the national grid and more. I recommend this place for anyone”
“wish i was a full time student, going to college increases my confidence and self esteem, procrastination is a hard think to get out of”
“I've known this company for some time and I've known many other professionals who extol their technical competency, innovation and impartiality and openness when dealing with such complex and at times emotionally charged matters. I have not come across another organisation that is so highly respected by its peers and I'm shocked at some of reviews on this page that appear to be insecure competitors. Don't hesitate in the slightest engaging them. I am a client and professional that uses their services.”
“I spent just over a week as an in-patient here and was very well looked after - the staff were marvellous and the food was excellent! I came out feeling a lot better and have continued that way.”
“I was on the BTEC Art and Design course when I studied here, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! If you are interested in pursuing the arts as a career or wish to study a subject involving the creative arts at university, taking this course would be the best choice! We learnt so many transferable skills including how to build an online art portfolio and social media presence, as well as more practical skills such as PhotoShop. As well as this, the college organised many trips to art galleries across the UK and were even taken on a trip to Rome and Florence in 2018 to see an abundance of artworks and architecture (including the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo's David!) that greatly inspired our own artwork. The teachers are so approachable and friendly, and most importantly show genuine enthusiasm and interest in your artwork and encourage creative freedom, which had a huge positive impact on my confidence in creating art. After completing this course I received an unconditional offer from the University of York to study History of Art BA(Hons). I'm now in my third year and have been given many opportunities over the years such as displaying my own art in campus galleries, organising art workshops for students and the public, and have made connections with curators, art galleries and professors from top arts universities! Overall would highly recommend this course! (and college!)”
“Hi! I really decided to share a review when I saw many negative reviews. For some reason they are mostly on Google Maps, and when I first applied, I was disappointed a bit, but it seems everything is fine. I am a distant graphic design learner; I do not know about other subjects, so I am reviewing it as someone who completed the first year. So if we're talking about downsides—for me as an Eastern European, the price is a little bit high, but it's manageable. The online platform also could be improved; I will say refreshed. It feels outdated, but overall it is working. I always thought that learning is more about diving into the topic deeper and asking for help if needed. I can't say I am a good student, as I am working full-time as a motion designer, and I usually regret this because I wanted to spend more time on some topics. But the university provides lecture support, feedback, and 1-to-1 meetings. It's all possible by contacting your lecturer. Don't think that you will be treated like in kindergarten here, especially with distance learning. The university provides a lot of good literature in digital form (I wish I would have time to read it as much as I want). Each lesson is supported with literature. In design studies there is so much practical work each week; if you do it, you totally will understand the topic. Again, this isn't Harvard, but they provide a structured program that keeps you motivated to manage your time and deadlines, and you will probably have skills to work on some freelance tasks after a few modules.”
