“Had the most enjoyable lunch. We chose the Camembert to share, we have had loads of camemberts as it is one of my favourites, but I have never ever tasted one this good. We had a glass of Chardonnay to go with it and the wine was exceptional as were the people who work there. Cannot find one fault and shall definitely be returning. What a lovely little gesture that was unexpected with my order. Absolutely, love the fact they went to the effort the handwrite a thank you note. “Our village is lucky to have this place. There’s not much you can’t get from here, including seasonal items. Shelves are always well stocked and I especially love the fresh baked goods - can’t beat a freshly baked French stick !! The staff are lovely and friendly. “My usual stop-off for my lunch on the way to work. Have got everything you might want, plus other stuff. Staff are helpful - this morning as I was looking through the sandwiches I was told to ask for anything I couldn't see, as they probably had it in the back (she was filling the sandwich section at the time) A mix of self-serve and staffed tills. Cash point outside. Bakery section at the back of the first aisle has some lovely bits in it (the pizza rolls are great!)”
