“The kids had an amazing time here, Even though I thought it would be a little bigger the play area is a little compact. But so much fun nonetheless. The staff was friendly one lady in particular even took the time to write out a few other places for me. I forgot your name but thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed in the soft play area and in Scotland in general.”
“Fantastic time away- the young people were having a wonderful time with loads of different activities not just the trampolines but airbags too, and a climbing area! A massive shout out to Christian and Steven for helping us with a wheelchair issue! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with how to help. I highly recommend.”
“We went for the toddler session with my one and three year old and they loved it! The price is reasonable for the hour and they were knackered by then anyway. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”
“I've been coming here for years with my husband and cousin, mostly for the arcade. There is a great section of machines to play, from plush grabby machines, and a couple of giant crane games, 2p pushers, barbour snip, virtual reality games, like water-skiing, dance move games, football, basketball, punch bag, tower of tickets etc. Plenty to keep you entertained for hours. There is also an age restricted arcade and a prize station. M&Ds has had a modern update and you can purchase a card to play machines and put credit on them and also to use to build up your tickets for the prize station (not all machine, you still need coins for some). Bistro in the Loch has a good selection of food from sandwiches, cakes, ice cream, with a breakfast menu with additional seating inside aswell as out and drinking bowls for dogs. There is also a bowling alley (Cosmic bowl) with multiple lanes, snooker and pool tables, a sports bar, the recently renovated Montery Jack's with an excellent food menu, a wee gift shop selling mostly sweets (a bit overpriced), Amazonian for seeing exotic animals and a decent sized funfair with various rides, and Krazy Congo soft play. Also, the props and the decoration of the building inside is impressive with so much thought to detail. The staff here are a great bunch of people from the machine maintenance guys, the security guy and especially the manageress, Karen. She's a lovely gal who you see power walking around the building adding glam and beauty to the neon and flashy lights of the arcade. She's always there for a chat and a laugh and just great craic. It's always great to see her. Overall, M&Ds is a great day out with a variety of things to do and right next to Strathclyde country park. There are good options for food and drink, parking is free and plentiful too. There are always events going on at different times of the year and the website or app is a good source of information for keeping up to date and checking for opening and closing times as not every facility opens and closes at the same time. https://scotlandsthemepark.com/opening-times/ Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell, Scotland ML1 3RT”
“Good short cut and the kids like it.. not great in the winter but very busy on a sunny day”
“Booked bouncy castle and ball pit for our son's first birthday. And he had an absolute ball! Fantastic service from you guys. The delivery was on time , the guys who dropped it off were really friendly and down to earth. Would definitely recommend you lot to others. You made a stressed out mummy feel at ease . 10/10”
“Fantastic urban wild swimming with friendly staff close to the city centre. Shallow enough to stand and a 300m plus loop to exercise around. What a great facility for the city!”
“My daughter loved it, and it's great value for money . The instructers were really good with her”
“Great fun for my grandson's birthday party. Staff are really great! Dealt with food allergies, preferences and lively children in a friendly, hassle free way. Many thanks to Kiara and Teighan - and the lovely girl doing the catering. Recommended!”
“Kids love this place, great size so never seems too busy. Staff are all friendly”
“Loved our latest visit! Booked in advance as can get very busy. Changing rooms and showers are a bit chaotic when busy but overall place was clean and lovely to see both flumes open again. Whirlpool is a ton of fun, lazy river with slides is great too and the wave machine is fantastic. Didn’t do the big tornado donut slide but kids loved it. They also love the huge water play area (where you can fire water at unsuspecting folk below). Cafe was open again too which was lovely to see (slushies and cakes were hoovered - also has hot food). As other people have noted, do bear in mind it is an old attraction now so it will look a bit worn around the edges and could use a bit of TLC on the rust spots but given its age that wasn’t a major thing for us. All in an absolutely fantastic day, lots of giggles and could have stayed much longer. Would recommend trying to go at non-peak times to get the best of the main features.”
“Looking for a trusted dog walker look no further.... I was looking for a dog walker for my dog, i was extremely nervous about this thinking of a stranger in my home and around my beloved pup when im not there to see the interaction. Willie was the first dog walker i met and i did not continue looking. Bella took to him straight away and was completely comfortable with him as was i. He even came to take her a trial walk while i was at home. He contacts me to let me know how shes done in her walks each time he has her and what they have done that day. He showed me proof of his insurance and pet first aid (which i found really put my aniexty to rest too). He is very reliable and flexible.”
