“Paws at West Struther very kindly agreed to look after my young dog at short notice recently, to enable me to attend a funeral locally on a day when weather might have considerably delayed my journey home to him. It was the dog’s first experience of any form of day care. He was immediately welcomed by name as we arrived and went off happily. Una very thoughtfully sent a text a while later, to say how well he had settled, which was reassuring, as were the Facebook photos later. Una was mindful of his inexperience and had contingency plans to separate him if he became over-awed, but he seems to have had a thoroughly enjoyable time. He has a good memory and I’m sure that he would be excited if he thought he was paying a return visit. For my part, I would feel very relaxed about leaving him there again.”
