“Arlene has been grooming my very anxious rescue westie for about 2 years now after we were referred to her by the animal behaviourist who was helping me with his behaviour. Fergus had been in a great deal of pain due to an undiagnosed spinal condition and could hardly be touched. Once we had his pain under control we slowly began the process of grooming him. Arlene is kind, patient and absolutely brilliant with him - she is a natural with dogs and Fergus just loves her. She took the time to get to know Fergus and never pushed him too far. Now, we have reached the stage where he is being fully groomed on a regular basis and as well as looking fantastic he is so much more comfortable as a result. This is all down to Arlene’s skill as a groomer and her kind and respectful attitude towards animals. She earned Fergus’s trust and he is now happy to go for his haircut. Arlene is a star and I cannot rate her highly enough.”

She listened and he dried of in the sun after a good towelling. Both our dogs will go to Linda from now on.”

“Great store, well set out and the staff are really helpful. I gave the guy my loyalty card and told him I'd left the vouchers at home for money off the dog food so he said to download the app and they show up there too. He said I could do this whilst standing at the checkout as it was quiet so I saved £4 because the staff care about their customers.”

She has shown genuine interest and care of our dog since he was a puppy and she visited him daily at home until he was ready for full walks. Our dog is now 5 years old and Daytona is very much part of his family. He even has personalised (hand made by Daytona) decorations on our Christmas tree! Professional service and a genuine devotion to animals.”

“Finally! This shop after two years of MEH (uneven, choppy, missed spots and overcut chunks) grooming results for my dog - they finally have skilled dog loving groomers. Until now, I've not been happy with the work the (ever changing ) staff at the Groom Room did with my dog. It was in a word : MEH. Uneven, choppy. No more. Ever since the new crew have been there: Pam, Colleen, Alex and Sophie I have been very very happy. Pam has done his hair twice and if I were not moving to a new country I would continue here for sure. All four new staff are wonderful. They demonstrate intense delight with the dogs and their owners. They take their time with check in - making certain they understand what I want and showing me the difference in the different cutting combs. Highly Recommend!”
