“Arlene has been grooming my very anxious rescue westie for about 2 years now after we were referred to her by the animal behaviourist who was helping me with his behaviour. Fergus had been in a great deal of pain due to an undiagnosed spinal condition and could hardly be touched. Once we had his pain under control we slowly began the process of grooming him. Arlene is kind, patient and absolutely brilliant with him - she is a natural with dogs and Fergus just loves her. She took the time to get to know Fergus and never pushed him too far. Now, we have reached the stage where he is being fully groomed on a regular basis and as well as looking fantastic he is so much more comfortable as a result. This is all down to Arlene’s skill as a groomer and her kind and respectful attitude towards animals. She earned Fergus’s trust and he is now happy to go for his haircut. Arlene is a star and I cannot rate her highly enough.”

“I have a labradoodle and any doodle owner will know their coats are a nightmare to keep on top of. My previous groomer would shave him every single time he went no matter how much I brushed him in between grooms. They kept saying he was matted when I really didn’t think he was but I took their word for it and worried that I would just never be able to look after his coat properly. I took him to crew cuts expecting to be told once again that he was matted and needed shaved. It turned out he wasn’t matted at all and for the first time in a long time he came out the groomers all fluffy and happy. He wasn’t traumatised and still had hair. I don’t know a lot about dog grooming but I do know that the guys at crew cuts are extremely professional. It was a man and a young girl in the shop that day. They had Alphie done in 1hr50mins and his hair has never looked so good. Thanks again Crew Cuts, we will see you in a few weeks.”

They treat the dogs with such care and are absolutely amazing at what they do. It doesn’t matter how dirty or scruffy my dog looks when he goes to the Poochie parlour, he always comes out looking and smelling amazing. Don’t think about going anywhere else!!!”

In the end, I decided to try Simplicity, since it's located close to where I live. I'd like to say everything they do there especially Pauline is amazing. My eyelashes look perfect always and prices are reasonable. Very friendly and responsible staff. Always smiled and ready to help. Pauline personally has never left me go without absolutely loving my look. I think they're the best in Glasgow and if you aren't satisfied with your current beautician/s, I highly recommend Simplicity. I was very skeptical as to doing my eyebrows too, as I've seen many fake looking bad eyebrow cases done by other beauty salons. Last time Pauline did my eyebrows for 10 minutes only and they looked absolutely gorgeous and natural. I highly recommend, they're highly professional and know what they're doing!”

“***AN ATTENTIVE & CARING OWNER WITH FANTASTIC, PROFESSIONAL GROOMING SKILLS*** I had never used OMD! before but desperately needed my 7 yo hairy-hairless Chinese Crested, Twix, groomed before he went in for an operation on Tuesday. Danielle contacted me after receiving my message and, having had a cancellation, she fitted Twix in and… WHAT A RESULT! Twix has skin conditions that make it very sensitive- Danielle discussed this with me in detail and selected the Anicura range to use on him (I’ve just ordered the products online- she knows what she’s talking about!). She listened carefully to what I wanted done with Twix in terms of his cut (I like him comfortable and cute, not the breed-standard cut that has him completely shaved) and she delivered it completely on point. Twix usually gets very carsick but he must’ve been entirely relaxed with Danielle as he was fine on the way home- no stress! Today (day after) he’s still darting around happily in his ‘I’ve just had a bath and I’m more comfortable/hyper’ way! So, I’m pleased, Twix is happy and I’ll DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! NB it is clear that Danielle dotes completely on every dog she grooms- she’s attentive and caring. Her love for the animals shone through when discussing Twix’s life-story (he was adopted from the Dogs Trust aged approx 2 after being found wandering in a car park, at night, in the rain). She will look after them as if they are her own.”
