“I began dancing at Rhythm and Dreams Dancing Centre 12 years ago after a long break from dancing, and my two children followed shortly afterwards. All of the classes are fantastic and my children have developed preferences for their own style, although they are still very exited about all of the dancing they do. We all enjoy the classes, shows and competitions we now have the opportunity to take part in and I have watched my children grow in confidence and ability. Thank you to everyone at Rhythm and Dreams for being the people you are, your kindness goes beyond professionalism. Over the years Rhythm and Dreams has become like a second family. It is one of my favourite places to be. There is a great atmosphere and everyone is so supportive and friendly. Thanks again.”

“Middleton Hall is an iconic and historic building at the University of Hull, located in the heart of the campus. The hall, which serves as a venue for events, conferences, and performances, has a rich history that dates back to the early 18th century. Originally, the hall was built in 1735 as a private residence for Thomas Atkinson, a wealthy local merchant. It was designed in the Georgian style and featured elegant architecture and exquisite detailing. The house remained in the Atkinson family until the mid-19th century when it was sold to another local merchant named Henry Briggs. Over the years, the hall changed hands several times and underwent numerous renovations and expansions. In the 1930s, it was acquired by Hull University College, which had recently been established and was looking for a suitable venue for its activities. The hall was extensively refurbished and transformed into a stunning venue that could accommodate large groups of people. Throughout the years, Middleton Hall has served as an essential hub for the university's cultural and social activities. It has hosted countless events, ranging from concerts and theater performances to academic conferences and public lectures. The hall has also been used as a venue for exams, graduations, and other official ceremonies. In recent years, the hall has undergone a significant renovation to ensure that it remains a vibrant and relevant venue for future generations. The renovation included the installation of state-of-the-art technology, new seating, and improved lighting and acoustics. The hall's beautiful Georgian features were preserved and enhanced, ensuring that it remains a unique and historic venue. In conclusion, Middleton Hall is an integral part of the University of Hull's history and identity. Its elegant architecture and rich heritage make it a unique and special venue that continues to play an essential role in the cultural and social life of the university and the wider community”

“Absolutely amazing place to learn to dance to high standards. My daughter started here in late March and has already made some long life friends and memories and been in her 1st show since being 3 (now 11) her dancing skills and confidence in last 2 months have seriously come on in leaps. They are great with children (in which I found important) and this place is a big dance family within the children. Their dances and shows are seriously different to any other dance place in Hull. I highly recommend this place”

“Great actors and very funny presentation of Pride and Prejudice. Mr Collins was sooo slimy! Minimal set and actors took on multiple tolls. Worked really well.”
