“My daughter attended Childrens Place from August 2019 up to August 2022 and has been through each room (baby, toddler and pre-school) including different key workers. She has always felt secure in each environment and with each of her key workers including all staff. Every staff member knows your child regardless of the room or stage they are at and that it is because they care about all the children which is actually really beautiful. I feel the staff don’t see it as a job but as a vocation and their passion and enthusiasm for the children and activities is really inspiring. My daughter has always felt loved within this setting and this is truly priceless and we as parents will remain eternally grateful for this experience. However the experience doesn’t end here - my daughter has now left for school and still likes to return to her “safe place” to see everyone and feels at home as though she never left and the nursery continue to invite us all to events and engage with leavers which is again very rare!! The children who have attended this nursery have been nurtured and encouraged to express themselves through play and made some great memories. It’s safe to say we would highly recommend this nursery. “Just a general review but I absolutely adore S&J. So friendly, none of the worries that they're talking about you behind your back (which I have experienced at other salons) as the staff just have a giggle with you and usually speak in English for comfort reasons anyway. They're so quick with nails but not careless at all and they're so kind. The nails EAT every single time, they have NEVER failed me. They can do whatever you ask! Recently did my wedding nails and those beauties stayed on for FOUR WEEKS! (Keeping in mind the previous salon I had tried last minute had badly hurt my nails and theirs popped off after a few days). A big point to make is that they're also transparent about pricing - they won't quote you a price and add on little bits at the end which is a big anxiety for me. They're upfront and honest. Michael in particular is very talented. Just a side note - my mum had been going to this salon since they started. She passed away recently and we needed her nails off (for religious reasons) but she could not move - at 11pm Michael came to our home and removed them from my Mum because she had known him since he had started. It's things like this that truly form a community and I cannot recommend these people enough. 10/10 I just can't imagine using anyone else again.”
