Less highly processed than you usually find and really fresh The deal came with fries, but opening the bag we found they had been forgotten. I called the shop and they sent a new box of fries out - no questions asked and were so polite and apologetic even down to the gent who dropped them off. Couldn’t fault it!”

“Was there today and it as an amazing afternoon. Pub was very clean, staff where so friendly and welcoming as soon as we went in. Drinks where perfect, they where hosting a weekly local event for those pensioners in need due to cost of living, who could be in need of hot or cold drinks and hot or cold food. Staff went out of their way to help everyone, they had entertainment on in the form of disco, karaoke and even games of bingo. Never seen so much effort put in to help locals who may be in need of help due to cost of living. Whole experience was amazing and staff going out their way. 10* rating for our visit, absolutely exceptional pub and staff. Will be visiting again. “If I recall properly, the owner and chef of this establishment was my taxi driver a year or two back - was a genuinely lovely guy and wished the best for his business after hearing how passionate about he was for cooking and serving people good food. Ordered from this place shortly after it opened and was blown away, and I'm glad to see it still here today. The service is as lovely as the man who told me about what he wanted to make. Our order was running late, but with staff as kind as they are and food as quality as it is, I had no complaints with having to wait a little longer; you won't find food that will fill you as much, at a higher quality, here than the burgers this establishment makes. “Absolutely magical! We stayed for ages and the pianist stayed with us the whole time, even though we were the only ones there! I had the a wild mushroom risotto and it was fantastic. The starter freshly baked warm bread with tomato, olive oil, salt and pepper was to die for as well! Definitely recommend it. A magical evening I won't forget.”
