“On this particular occasion (15th June 2023) I was both surprised and pleased. Due to having diabetes which makes infections worse + my OBS being high the triage nurse put me at the top of the priority list. After 10 minutes I was called in by Andy/Andrew who was exceptionally professional & kind. He told me man to man we both had the same anatomy so not to be embarrassed. After inspecting my groin he laid it out to me that I had to go to the hospital to get the infection sorted. He showed a lot of care towards me and when I told him I was a carer for my mum he wanted to make certain I had somebody to look after her while I was away. He called the ward ahead of time so they was expecting me and knew why I was coming. He also sorted me out a taxi. Andy/Andrew you're a credit to the service mate I appreciate it, you have a pure heart. Thank you.”
