“Absolute diamonds these vets. My dog had a choking incident and after attempting everything we had to take him to a vet and these vets jumped to our aid. We weren't registered but yet they dropped everything there and then to help us with our dog. Fortunately my dog managed to dislodge the chew and it was all okay. The St Helens clinic is easy to access, can get a little bit busy and hectic at times but it’s worth the waiting time for the end result. “On this particular occasion (15th June 2023) I was both surprised and pleased. Due to having diabetes which makes infections worse + my OBS being high the triage nurse put me at the top of the priority list. After 10 minutes I was called in by Andy/Andrew who was exceptionally professional & kind. He told me man to man we both had the same anatomy so not to be embarrassed. After inspecting my groin he laid it out to me that I had to go to the hospital to get the infection sorted. He showed a lot of care towards me and when I told him I was a carer for my mum he wanted to make certain I had somebody to look after her while I was away. He called the ward ahead of time so they was expecting me and knew why I was coming. He also sorted me out a taxi. Andy/Andrew you're a credit to the service mate I appreciate it, you have a pure heart. Thank you.”

“I attended St Helens Rota GP on 10/08/2025 With my daughter who has None Verbal Autism. Due to being poorly she was very upset distressed and was repeatedly banging her head in the waiting room and was very disregulated. I cant thank the staff enough the lady on reception come over asked how can I help? And helped us from start to finish of the appointment. And helped navigate us into the room where the GP was carrying our daughters bag and belongings in so we could carry her into the toom to see the Doctor. The same lovely receptionist came in with a drink for our daughter and was absolutely amazing every step of the way supporting us as parents and most importantly our daughter. The GP we seen was absolutely lovely we attended due to an Eczma flare up after my daughter had sufferd a cold and it wasn't keeping at bay with her creams prescribed by dermatology. Doctor checked and gave her some medication to help with the flare up and also done a quick ear examination to find our daughter also had an ear infection in her right Ear. I cant thank all staff at St Helens Rota GP enough for the help support and also kindness and compassion if Everley could say thank you I know she deffinately would. I would like to be able to make appointments online too but whenever I have tried it is unavailable. Otherwise I am satisfied with the practice on the whole .
