“I had a wonderful experience training with Robyn and the London Meisner Company, having finished now I miss them all so much. I think the benefits of having a group to train with weekly can’t be understated. Robyn is direct and great at what she does, but she doesn’t cross the line into being harsh which I actually experienced at a different place I studied Meisner at, so that was always appreciated. She helped me see there were many more approaches to the work that I hadn’t explored before and I can’t wait to go back to masterclass and keep it all up! “I did four courses last year and finished Meisner in Jan. I've had such a great time. Alex is very good at creating a welcoming and safe environment for us to explore the key elements of acting. Classes were relaxed but structured with lots of thoughtful activities and supportive feedback. I also enjoyed the process of rehearsing for a play and then performing it in front of an audience. Russell taught me about the roles of director and actor. All the courses were a great way to learn, use our imagination and think creatively - all while helping to build confidence, curiosity, and connection. Lots of mental health benefits too. “Just completed Theater Gym's online course for Voice Acting Foundation with Shaun Mendum. The course was well presented and informative. We had four different subjects covered, one per Saturday, and he went above and beyond putting each subject into context and helping us navigate them. We were given constructive feedback about our performances, including what we did well and helpful explanations on how to improve. We were encouraged to work with our fellow students and our group in particular created a strong bond because of Shaun's leadership. If voice acting interests you, I cannot recommend this course enough.”
