“I was introduced to Jairo through two of my friends who he'd previously worked with. I'd only had one tiny tattoo beforehand and so didn't fully know what to expect with getting a design done from scratch. He takes you through the whole design process with him while he works so you have all the input you want but also gives his professional guidance on things you suggest which I found really helpful! The vibrancy of the colours of his work is what drew me to approach him after seeing his work on my friends so if you like bright colour and cartoony style art then definitely go to him :) Studio is nice, clean and Jairo is friendly and easy to chat to while you're there.”

I feel no matter whom you may choose to artistically create you something, it'll be well worth the outcome. It was Luca who drew up my Irezumi ( who no longer works here) but nonetheless, I know the other artists are as great. If you're thinking of getting a piece, Lals place is more than worth getting it done at.”

“I've had 3 tattoos done at Skunx, two by Milan and one by Eva. They are both great artists, and I've had so many compliments on the dramatic tiger stripes that Milan did for me! The atmosphere at the studio is relaxed and friendly, and each time I was tattooed, the artists made me feel comfortable. I was very fussy about getting the designs perfectly positioned before they started inking, but both Milan and Eva were very patient and didn't make me feel rushed even though the positioning process took a long time. It's very important to these artists that their clients are 100% satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend them to others.”

I recently started my tattoo journey with the wonderful Nikki, I enquired about an idea for a tattoo I wanted and she drew multiple options for me and tweaked it until I was 100% with the design and it was incredible. She clearly has a passion for her work and pays attention to every little detail. During the appointment, there is a friendly and comfortable environment, you can genuinely tell that the staff all value eachother. I will never go to another tattoo or piercing shop. I have also recently had piercings done by Chris after going to a dodgy shop for years, they healed extremely well and the professionalism during the appointment really helps you feel sure that you are being pierced right! “I got this tattoo from Tate while visiting London from the United States. The whole process was wonderful. She altered the design, which I initially picked from her flash, to perfectly fill the gap area on my arm. She thought about the placement of the leaves and the flow of it so completely and the result was better than I could have imagined. I have received so many compliments on the beauty of this tattoo. The shop was cute, clean, and felt so relaxing. I highly recommend the Lost Fox and Tate for a tattoo!”

I felt so comfortable that I booked my first ever tattoo with Martin. Martin did an amazing job, so fast at adding the tattoo. A fab job, true artist and great person too. “Kade was absolutely amazing when I went in to have my nose ring changed ahead of my wedding back in August. Kade was so lovely, professional, and incredibly helpful in guiding me to choose a beautiful new piece for my big day. I hadn’t changed my nose ring in about 15 years and had no idea what I wanted, but Kade made me feel completely relaxed and helped me pick something perfect. Kade also helped me swap out my tragus piercing for something that suited me much better. The customer service was outstanding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Gilt Moth for anything piercing-related in the future!”
