“This is a great garage I can't recommend it enough, especially for woman, these guys won't speak to you like u don't have a clue about cars and they won't take you for a ride! I moved to the area and I noticed my car water tank was low, I took it over and they inspected it and showed me the problem. I took it in the next day and my car was sorted. (8months ago) They are very approachable, polite and friendly. Took my car for a service today and again I can't fault them, done a brilliant job, car is back running smoothly, very reasonably priced and you can tell they don't just do things to get more money out of you. I've had a repair done and a service before I wrote my review and when my car is due a MOT this is definitely where I will be taking it.”

I went to pick my car up and noticed I still had these horrible hard water stains stuck on my windscreen, due to an accident earlier in the year. He went above and beyond to remove the stains with extra care, and I couldn't be happier with his service. Couldn't recommend these guys enough, they're great! “I've recently moved to the area and as there are so many MOT garages, I wasn't sure where to go so I took a gamble on Chequers and what a brilliant choice I made. As a female, I'm not 100% with cars but I'm no newbie either and have been to many places who have tried me but Chequers, a lovely family owned business, took care of my car and thoroughly checked it over. Not only did they provide excellent service which took no more than 20 minutes or so, they even offered me information for the best garages around if any repairs are needed at low prices! Best of all, I was talking about how I needed a new clutch and how much money it'll cost me and they provided more info which in turn saved me well over £400-500 estimated on a new clutch!!! “I go to General Auto’s regularly for my MOTs and servicing and they always deliver to an excellent standard. Recently went to have my clutch replaced in my car and the turnaround and advice they gave me was second to none. Also recently had my light bulbs in my car replaced and they were able to fix it and point out that the holder was snapped off which is why the light couldn’t be secured properly into place and offered me a solution (something all other mechanics and Halfords I’ve went to have missed!)”
