The meat dishes, including the ribs and mixed grill, were absolutely outstanding - cooked to perfection and full of deliciousness. The calamari was a delightful surprise, large and flavorful, and the bread was irresistibly good. One standout dish was the Lamb Beyti, which was nothing short of amazing. The tomato sauce that accompanied the dishes was a true culinary delight. The overall dining experience at Koz Ocakbasi was one to remember, with each dish leaving me wanting more. If you're looking for fantastic Turkish cuisine that impresses with every bite, Koz Ocakbasi is a must-visit. “Name changed from Taste of Afghanistan to Shami kabab restaurant. Nice halal food and plenty of seating area. Best dish was Kabuli pulow, tasty rice having good qty meat and comes with vegetable and chutney. Kabab with naan were also good Chicken roast was nice too with fries (best for children) Starter was average because quantity was less (would not order again)”

“used to live very near here and my partner and I would order multiple times a week and it was worth it every time! We’ve been ordering from them for almost three years now and have tried very many of their dishes (seafood and chicken only, we don’t eat beef or pork). Everything we have is so good and I can’t recommend it enough. It always arrives quickly even if they say that it’ll take 45 minutes sometimes and even with the longer wait times, they arrive warm. Since we’re regulars, they give us prawn crackers for free once in a while and it’s very well appreciated!”

“I went to the pub to celebrate my friend’s birthday and both the food and service were excellent. I didn’t realise I needed to register my car in their car park, so a few days later I received a parking ticket. I emailed them to explain, and they were very kind and efficient, cancelling my ticket within an hour. Fantastic customer service – highly recommend this place!”

“I was in the area, and being from Birmingham, I saw this place first. What a blessing! It was a lovely, cozy spot that looked like a family-run Caribbean restaurant with beautiful service. The lady introduced me to sorrel juice for the first time in my life, and I'll definitely be looking forward to trying some more closer to home. The food was delicious, and it was Halal. “Greenford really needed a new, tasty Chinese Takeaway. I’ve recently been put off my other local one as their prices have gone up massively and their food quality has deteriorated so I was excited to try Lee Garden and I am now excited to order again.
