“What to say about this place. Loved their hospitality and so as their food. We had idli chutney sambar and Chicken curry parotta. You get 5 idlis and 3 parrottas in the respective dishes. Both costed us just £9. Portions were good. Value for money. And special mention for their complimentary evening Chai. It was such a warm feeling being offered the tea like you visiting your friends or family. Will surely try other dishes in coming days. PS - Food was so yumm and smelled delicious that we couldn’t resist eating the moment we served. Pictures are Surely for the next time.”

“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

The market place payment concept also works great as you can linger a long time while adding to your order. Works for a long transit wait. Better than the commercial lounge.”

The passion fruit martinis were incredible, the brisket was perfectly done, and the place had a great atmosphere. “All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. “Recently attended a friend's birthday party that was hosted here and was very taken back by the service and the food. To be honest I wasn't aware that they did food but as part of the birthday meal we had a few great dishes as part of 'platters' lollipop chicken, spring rolls, fried fish and more. All of which was delicious and filling, we found ourselves at tbe pool table having a chat which is great to see in a locals pub. I am now led to believe they take bookings and delivery their wholesome dishes too. Surprised us and very much looking forward to returning, what a find.”

“Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“My visit to wagamama was very good. I was seated by the window. The place was clean and very busy. I ordered a raisukaree curry. I had a free coffee on my app which I was able to redeem. The service was very nice and polite. Everyone was working hard and efficient from what I have seen. A girl named Nik was amazing, she made sure I am all set and looked after. Thanks Nik! “We had our twins 18th birthday party yesterday in Amrit Lounge. The food was so delicious by chefs (Mr. Sharma & Mr. Pandey) , waitress ( Aasha) was excellent and was spot on. The manager ( Mr. Sooriya ) was so helpful and he is brilliant. He managed this event so smoothly that all our guests (80) were so impressed with the food & service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for small partys for around 70/80 people. A big "Thank you" to all the staff of Amrit Lounge for making this event a grand success.”
