“Lovely place, fully gluten free. Delicious cakes and croissants, I went back for more! Very friendly staff. The coffee was excellent too! I say this as a coffee snob!”
“It was the most lovely and warm cafe during my trip to London from korea. I have a lot of good memories. It was a place where I went to find coffee in the morning, and it was so comfortable and warm where the staff and the people of the neighborhood greeted me warmly. I don't have much time, so I'm sorry I couldn't stop by again. I'll definitely stop by one more time!”
“This place has become the go to stop of a morning for me and my wife. Wonderful staff! Great coffee! Cakes galore!”
“Hidden gem! We popped in for brunch - really quick service, great menu options and DELICIOUS food! Really good value. We had the courgette fritters and the smashed avocado, poached eggs and bacon on sourdough. Thank you!”
“The loveliest coffee shop and people, they’re always so friendly and attentive. Delicious coffee, a real community gem.”
“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”
“This corner cafe has been around for quite a few years now. However, it recently changed name (and possibly ownership). It remains great choice nonetheless! Note to self: I should be going there more often. The staff are friendly. There is a good selection of savoury items, reasonably priced. Laptops are not allowed, which is OK, as there are a lot of books to read and even buy. Halfway between Ealing Broadway station and South Ealing.”
“Great atmosphere, great staff and wonderfully smooth coffee :) definitely recommend.”
“Ho comprato una casa in Italia : Inverigo (Como, Lombardia). Allora, Il Primo Caffe ed un piacere mangiare qui. E veramente un Caffe Italiano Autentico, buonissimo espresso, tutti quanti mangia bene ogni volta, senza dubio. Amazing super friendly and genuine Italian proprietor. The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”
“Lovely staff and friendly owner, very nice food and I’ve travelled 5-6 miles to come here for breakfast because they make a fantastic eggs royal, as the pictures show.”
“Absolute little gem in Green Street Green. Had 4 lunches this week and loved every single one. Menu is so different from all the rest of the other cafés. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Had a different dessert every day, felt spoilt for choice. The best carrot cake I've ever eaten, and the blondie and the brownie... My partner had not fried, but baked big breakfast and absolutely LoVe it. Noticed owner knew his customers by name, very special for me. And the coffee is indeed the best. We will miss not working in the area and getting fed by Belmondo”
“Great little gem close to the High Street. Had a great toasted sandwich and coffee here plus they have a 5* Food hygiene rating! Would definitely reccomend over the usual chain high street coffee shops!”
“I had a coffee at the Ferry Shop yesterday, and it was a lovely experience! The staff were very friendly, and the location by the side canal is just beautiful. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view, and have a small cup of coffee with friends. Highly recommended for a peaceful hangout!”
“Smokers Paradise in Billericay High Street (opposite Wildwood) has a really, really good selection of greetings cards at very reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and if you can’t find what you’re looking for they are happy to assist. They also do personalised helium balloons. And all the usual newspapers, sweets, chocolates, stationery, calendars, lottery tickets & small gifts you find in a newsagent.”
“Very helpful and polite.Very good selection of tobaccos”
“My daughters 4th birthday was hosted here today! Amazing place and thank you for helping me make my daughters 4th birthday memorable x”
“Barista with black glasses is fantastic - he was seamelessly sorting out a queue of 10+ different drinks as well as checking the toaster and minding the counter all by himself, as everyone else had disappeared. I even saw him changing toilet paper once the queue was served!! I seriously hope he is appreciated as he seems to be running the place ....”
“Great little shop. Staff are lovely!”
“You must try the ice creams, its soooo good , and the staff are so friendly”
“Was in Croydon for the day, googled for a work friendly cafe and found this gem. Great atmosphere but even better service and friendly staff, the jacket potato packed way more than I bargained for, for £5 for a chilli con-carne and cheese and £2.30 for an Americano. If you’re in the area and need to work make sure to get down here, it’s perfect.”
