“We live just up the road and thought it was a greasy spoon. How wrong we were. Poached is a postage stamp size gourmet breakfast restaurant. The menu is innovative. The service is warm and friendly. That totally know their coffee (fresh roasted beans on sale here too). A delightful place for breakfast (and probably lunch too. As a bonus they have a live train times board and do takeaways. 5 stars all the way.”

“Went today this Deli today to get the lovely Italian ham they have which is very tasty. The Deli was quite busy and I they clearly needed another member of the team to help although the lovely lady who served me was so professional and polite. She stayed calm under pressure from people that definitely should be more polite. (Be kind) Manners cost nothing. Well done to Kaley:)”
“The atmosphere is nice and the staff friendly. There is a good selection of teas and coffees. The cakes are tasty. Pastries are ok though. However we enjoy this place after a nice walk during cold days.”
