“Caught my wife's door mirror on our front wall while reversing. Went to another bodyshop and quoted £460 for a new door mirror no other option given. Tried ft smartfix for first time and told he could change the mirror but as the damage was minor he could quickly just touch it up before my wife got home. 10 minutes later it's not so noticeable. Not a complete repair but just made it look better and the best thing is when I asked how much, I was told don't worry about it. Gave the guy £20 for being a gentleman and genuine. I had my doubts initially but all the 5 star reviews gave me some confidence and I decided it was worth taking a chance. I was contacted as soon as the car was ready unlike some other garages where I've had to follow up to find the status of the work. “Very nice mechanic. My car wouldn't start, I don't live too far away from the garage so the mechanic was kind enough to walk to my house and jump start the car. We then drove it to the garage where they diagnosed the problem and said it will take a week to fix. They contacted be just a little earlier than a week and said it was ready. I was running late and the mechanic was kind of enough to wait 40 mins after closing so I can collect the car. Highly recommend.”
