“My sons have attend the nursery one is shy and the other very lively and not so shy! The nursery has been really good in teaching and using creativity. My son is always bring home drawings and creations and loves seeing them at home. He really loved a counting book that nursery made that he brought home. Really helped with his counting. Staff are friendly and responsive to parents questions.”

“This nursery is the best by far. My little girl has been attending Little Elms, Shirley for almost 5 months and she has such a great time. The staff are very caring and affectionate towards my little girl needs!”

“Our daughter has been attending Early Learners for 15 months now and we love the nursery. When I first went to have a look around the nursery, I immediately warmed to the staff and the environment. All the staff are lovely, friendly and caring and seem to enjoy being there too. We also love the fact that it's not a huge nursery and as a result each child is treated as an individual. The nursery definitely deserves its Ofsted rating of outstanding and we're sending our younger daughter there in January. I would definitely recommend the nursery.”

“Best nursery ever! I had a very bad experience with the first nursery my son went to, when we arrived at gingerbread within the first week my son loved it!!!! It was so nice to leave him in the morning smiling and sure he will have a good time! The staff is amazing and very friendly. Kids have so many toys to play with and all the activities are fun. I will definitely recommend gingerbread! Thank you for everything ❤️”

Moreover, the communication between the staff and us as parents is outstanding. They utilise an app that keeps us updated on our son's activities, progress, and even provides insights into his daily experiences. Additionally, their commitment to regular one-on-one feedback sessions through parents evenings ensures that we are always informed and involved. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with Little Apples Nursery School. It's truly a place where our son is not only learning but thriving.”

“Two of my children attend here one in baby room and one in pre-school and I have had no issues, I am really happy with the care given to my children and the communication I receive. Both my children love the staff, are well-settled and looked after. I have a very good relationship with the managers who always accomodate my requests. I am pleased with this nursery and would recommend it to others :)”

“We have been so pleased with this nursery. Our son started in Explorers 5 months ago and all staff have been so kind and caring towards him. We get regular updates on his progress and he experiences fun and engaging activities every day. It’s made the transition to returning to work much easier knowing he’s in such good hands.”

“Amazing nursery, my daughter loves attending! I was nervous for my daughter to attend nursery as she has only been cared for by family and is quite attached to us. Despite this, she has not cried once during handover, even during her settling in period, which i can only put down to the care given by her key person and other staff at the nursery. The nursery is clean, with modern toys and the staff have excellent attention to detail (cute shower caps for the children to wear while playing in the sandpit!). My daughter loves attending and I am excited for her to keep interacting with other children and participate in the activities organised for the February calendar. There isn't a screen/TV in the room my daughter is in, which I liked. My daughter can be a fussy eater but has eaten most of the meals provided, which the nursery updates me on using their app. I'm excited to see my daughter progress while attending Leapfrog.”

Staff and management Accomodate needs for the best of children when they are not settling, getting to know them well and communicating concerns to parents for early intervention, as well as encouraging them eating and becoming Independent and ready for school. “A wonderful little nursery with the most amazing staff. Both my kids attend here and they are looked after really well. My 3 year old always talks about the staff and is eager to go in the mornings. My baby settled so well into the baby room, I was so pleased. The manager is absolutely lovely. I feel like I always have so many requests but she's always so accommodating and has never complained :)”

“The cheapest in the area. They didn't use to have free spaces when i had my first child but i catched a space for my second child. My 2 years old dosen't seem to go by pleasure in the morning but he is happy when i take him and also comes home with nursery rymes and new words. X”

“This is the second nursery we have tried in this area. It is far and away the best. The teachers are dedicated professionals (most are also Montessori trained in addition to EYFS training) who are obviously enjoying their work with children, and who are committed to Lemon Tree in the long term. In other words, unlike the other nursery we tried which had huge problems with staff turnover, the teachers at Lemon Tree know us, we know all of them, and most importantly they and the children know each other. Every week my partner and I talk about how relieved we are that our son is at Lemon Tree, and how confident we feel in the care and attention he is receiving there. They also have an enormous outdoor play area with real grass and trees, not just a carpark covered in astroturf. The children are given many opportunities for outside play and they integrate natural learning with their Montessori curriculum. I would recommend this place without qualification.”

“Little Whits is a great nursery, welcoming staff, there is lots of space for kids to play around and by having all kids together there is lots of bonding across different ages and a sense of one big family. I saw kids engaging nicely with each other, my little one made friends and loved going there. Large variety of toys. The team is fantastic, Laura and Michelle have been outstanding in accommodating our requests, very nurturing and particularly maternal. I really valued the freedom and flexibility of the staff in looking after the kids with so much love and passion.”

“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”

She has so much fun every day and such varied activities. Great food too and she enjoys that but very much. They keep you updated via an app so you really do feel connected to their day”

“Send my daughter here and this is her second nursery. Very very happy with all the team here. My daughter’s key worker is amazing and genuinely makes us feel our daughter is properly cared for. We stayed for a little bit one afternoon for a Father’s Day stay and play and you could see the bond that they had made. It was heartwarming to see. If we had another baby we wouldn’t hesitate to send them here. Thank you to all the staff for all the amazing work you do!”

“I was initially concerned when my child was transferred to the school, especially after reading some negative reviews and considering its distance from my home. However, I soon realized that many of those reviews were misleading. The school is outstanding in every aspect. The discipline is strong, and all children are treated with care and respect. The meals are delicious and impressive, with the thoughtful addition of offering bagels in the morning. Very touching! The headteacher, Mrs. Edmonds, comes across as both professional and caring, and all the teachers and assistants are highly responsible and attentive to the children’s needs. It’s clear they put in a lot of effort. My child, who started in P1 after moving from Scotland, has been very happy here, even after just a few weeks. The after-school club is excellent too, with friendly staffs,and my child absolutely loves the meals it offers! Shamed I have to transfer her to another school only because it is too far from where I live. Both me and the child feel very sad about leaving minister infant school.”

We have sent both of our 2 daughters to Tunstall Nursery over the last 5 years and have been super happy with it. From day one we knew it was a safe loving place to leave our kids. If there were more stars than 5 to leave I would leave more!”

“Out of all Nurseries we looked at we decided to go with Fennies. I am truly impressed with the care and patience of the staff. Our daughter enjoys her time a lot at the nursery and is always excited to go there. We really thought she would not want us to leave and cry when we drop her off in the morning, but it turns out she loves to play with other children and enjoys all the activities at Fennies. Truly recommended.”
