“This is the second nursery we have tried in this area. It is far and away the best. The teachers are dedicated professionals (most are also Montessori trained in addition to EYFS training) who are obviously enjoying their work with children, and who are committed to Lemon Tree in the long term. In other words, unlike the other nursery we tried which had huge problems with staff turnover, the teachers at Lemon Tree know us, we know all of them, and most importantly they and the children know each other. Every week my partner and I talk about how relieved we are that our son is at Lemon Tree, and how confident we feel in the care and attention he is receiving there. They also have an enormous outdoor play area with real grass and trees, not just a carpark covered in astroturf. The children are given many opportunities for outside play and they integrate natural learning with their Montessori curriculum. I would recommend this place without qualification.”

“My daughter received fantastic care and love during her time at Rosemount, she was very introverted when she joined and her time and the attention received at Rosemount laid a fantastic foundation for her development into an outgoing, happy and confident individual. She still remember her time at Rosemount fondly and I am very grateful for the care the team has shown her. Even some years have passed the team still answers my queries promptly. “An absolutely fabulous nursery. My son only attended one day a week but his progress in all areas sped up phenomenally after only a few sessions. Being at BP boosted his confidence, his interest in art, his social skills and his language and numeracy skills immensely. I can't emphasise enough just how lovely the staff are at BP; Henry looked forward to seeing them every week and barely gave me a second glance once dropped off! The staff were always consistent and everyone I spoke to there knew exactly who my son was and all his likes, dislikes and habits. A far cry from a previous nursery he attended where I saw his key worker twice in about three months and there was no sense of closeness with the toddlers at all... Henry always had the best time at BP, especially getting to go outside exploring every day he was there. We were absolutely devastated to leave and only did so because we were moving out of area. I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a calm, well organised, friendly environment and professional staff who go above and beyond for the kids.”

“At Dulwich Wood Nursery School, you will find a brilliant team of highly qualified staff, who care deeply about children and really understand how young children learn. They have fantastic outdoor facilities, and always have an array of activities to support children to deepen their understanding, while really nurturing their emotional and social development. I moved my child from a private nursery to Dulwich Wood and I was so pleasantly surprised by how much better the provision was at Dulwich Wood. The space is amazing, the children feel at home in the nursery community and it is a well planned, purposeful learning environment. Children are supported to follow their interests in their learning, with support from qualified educators. My child felt loved, accepted and learned so much here. Can't recommend it enough.”

“I have used Next Generation Day Nursery since last September and can not fault them. We have a little one in Little Stars baby room and another in Shooting Stars preschool room. They both come home having had the best time. They have different activities on each day and the Famly app they use to send us updates and pictures is amazing.”

My son is now two and started at 9 months old and he loves all of the staff, we receive regular updates and photos on what he did each day he attends and he skips in happily every morning. We wanted a small setting with caring staff, good food, play and cuddles; all of which they have in abundance.”

I am always bowled over by their intuitive interactions with the children as well as one another. I have often arrived at a random time and the children across all three rooms are calm and happy. “We are so glad to have chosen Hilly Fields for our daughter, who has attended since she turned one. She's incredibly happy there - she loves her key worker and other room staff, engages in a huge variety of activities, and eats and sleeps really well. We love that Theatre Bugs are brought in weekly for the children to enjoy music and dancing, and the large garden means they get plenty of outdoors time. Nursery management are fantastic and communication is outstanding - we receive lovely updates on their app every day. We can't recommend it highly enough!”

“Annemount is the most amazing prep school. It provides well-rounded education in a supportive and nurturing environment with focus on self independence and confidence . The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond to help every child succeed. The head Geraldine is phenomenal and truly cares on a personal level about each child and their development. One thing I love the most about Annemount is parental involvement, from various social evenings to “bring you're mum/dad to school morning” you will get to know every parent at the school. Both my boys have absolutely thrived at this school with my eldest passing the 7+ and continuing his education at a highly academic school in north London.”

“Sparkies is a little hidden gem nursery, which is not an obvious “famous” choice in a Nappy Valley but it is absolutely great. Grace and her team truly care and love children and it does feel like a big family rather than a business minded nursery. They also encourage children to stay outdoors and explore a lot. Their facilities with a wonderful big garden is a real luxury. My daughter has previously attended one of the thought after local nurseries on Webbs Road and she absolutely hated it. We were desperate to find a good alternative and this was a real find. It took her only few days to settle, as her key teacher was very attentive, loving and she just loved to go to Sparkies. Also, Sparkies has got a nice parents community which just reinforces the big family culture.”
