“Both my son (for 4.5yrs) and daughter (for 2yrs) attended this excellent nursery. The standard of care and teaching is very high. My children used to literally run in to the nursery in the morning which is a strong reflection on the positive and loving environment that has been created. The food is cooked on site and is a varied healthy menu. It really helps because my children at school now eat everything and love fruit/veg. The Management is very friendly and approachable. The Manager (Nirupa) is absolutely lovely and is assisted by her efficient son which creates a warm family environment. Any issues are addressed very promptly with good feedback to the parents. The communication and relationship with the parents is excellent. I thoroughly recommend and positively endorse this nursery.”

“Wonderful nursery and amazing team here that has been looking after my child incredibly well for the last two years. They have been all very knowledgeable, caring and very supportive during every stages of my child's development. They plan lots of activities with and for children, encouraging participation from parents as well. Very quickly, the staff built the trust that I was very confident that kids grow and develop in a safe and comfortable environment in this nursery. The surroundings are beautiful as well. In addition to well-designed outdoor play area, the Chorleywood Estate gives unbelievable access to different animals, long walks, free play area in the nature. Lots of places to park your car too, which sometimes becomes an important thing to consider during busy drop off and pick up times. Overall, lovely community feel - highly recommend!”

“Owls Daycare has been like a second home for Emily since she was 9 months old, and now, as she approaches 4, she still loves every moment there! Emily was one of the first children to attend when Owls opened, and the support she's received over the years has been amazing. As she's simultaneously learning two languages—English as her native language and Portuguese as her heritage language—the team has been incredibly supportive in helping her develop strong communication skills. Their understanding and encouragement have been instrumental in her language growth. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. “I can not recommend Colby Nursery enough. My daughter attended there for almost a year and we were very sad to say goodbye last week due to moving away. Mary and all the team were absolutely fantastic, they provided a safe, secure and nurturing environment for my daughter to learn and develop. The garden is a welcome addition to the nursery ensuring they children have plenty of outdoor time and fresh air. “Great job, entrusting your baby to have their ears pierced is a big deal at 3 months. Rob did a great job both putting me at easy and piercing my littleones ears. Nice selection of earrings at reasonable prices which included piercing and aftercare liquid with instructions. I travelled over an hour across London but it was well worth the drive. “My son loves going to nursery now. He excitedly runs to get to press the doorbell to go in and comes out smiling at pick up. It wasn't an easy start for him as he hadn't been away from me apart from with a couple of other family members before. Staff were accommodating and mindful of his needs and discussed with me how to help him settle and worked to find a strategy that made him feel nursery was a safe space. They were also very kind when I had my own little wobble as I was feeling worried about the whole situation. I love that new activities are set up each day. Pictures of these and of what the kids are up to are posted on the private parents facebook group a couple times a day. It means we can show my son and chat about his day and what is going on at nursery. It helps build his speech, but also allows us to learn more about who is important to him at nursery and what he enjoys even though he isn't yet able to express it fully in words. My son enjoys being outside. With the nursery's vast garden and free flow between in and outdoors most of the time, he clearly makes the most of it. Good wipe down coat advisable.”
