“Absolute delight! Husband and I dined at Daddy Bao in Tooting on Sunday evening and we could not have a better experience. The restaurant is cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. The team is welcoming and super knowledgeable about the dishes. The food is flavoursome and definitely quench your hunger. Great value for money. We had the Christmas set menu (dumplings and baos with a twist) and supplemented with some more small plates (so much food) and had drinks and dessert for £96 with service charge (that is well deserved). We will surely return to try more dishes!”

“Hotel: It was not bad for just a night sleep equipped with tea set and kettle for a morning tea. Can do with little bit more effort on cleanliness as did find a few areas that were missed. Restaurant: very welcoming atmosphere, nice decoration, Lovely staff, very well mannered. Food was excellently delicious. Fish curry , butter chicken and everything else was absolutely delicious. Harri was very kind and very welcoming. Harri helped us understand the dishes and got us what we wanted without any hassle. They were kind to us and we were kind to them . I would definitely recommend this place and don't forget to try their food. When it comes to parking , let the staff know and also the next morning you need to let them know so they put it on there log book.”

“Booked the beer garden last minute for my husband's surprise birthday party and everyone had the best time! The beer garden is a fab spot on a sunny day and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to decorate the area we booked in advance, stored our cake, and checked in throughout the afternoon/evening to make sure everything was going to plan. The food, especially the sliders, went down a treat. Would highly recommend for any parties/big group gatherings! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“I ordered the chicken pizza and grilled peri peri chicken from Wings Cottage, both were superb. The peri peri chicken wings, with jalapeños, onions, and flavorful sauce, was a standout. The pizza had a crispy crust and fresh vegetables, making it one of the best and prices are completely cheap compared to other places. The shop is very neat and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parking is easily available nearby. Highly recommended.”

“This is my 3rd visit to this takeaway, and the food is consistently delicious. This authentic South Indian & srilankan restaurant is a gem in the mitcham. My favorite dish is the Mutton Chukka with Parotta and gravy – it’s a must-try. You won’t be disappointed! The food portions are generous and well worth the money. Plus, parking is free after 7 PM. “I ordered starters crispy squid, gizzard and there was another order of chofi. Must say the squid wasn’t nice at all. It was shaped like nuggets not your usual ring shape which made it taste battery instead of tasting the actual squid quite disappointing. Must say the rest of the starters that was ordered were really nice and well seasoned. Also the moko it came with was delicious. I got jollof as takeaway yet to taste it. Deffo do recommend this restaurant service was great.”

“If you're after food and drink, take the review score with a shovelful of salt. Most of the negative reviews are about the hotel, and the pub/restaurant itself has also vastly improved in recent times. We really enjoyed the food - a nice menu including some great tapas, all creatively presented. There is a nice sunny beer garden for the warmer months, plenty of TVs for sporting events and the staff are friendly. This is now our go-to local in the Tooting / Streatham area.”
