“We have had the most wonderful experience at this nursery. The staff are fantastic and they really do care about the welfare and development of the children. I get a sense that they are all very experienced and know the children really well. We couldn't be happier and our little boy feels the same - he has built great relationships with everyone and is very settled.”

“A fun, interactive space to climb, run, jump and explore everything that a plant needs to grow. Based in a natural setting the size of 40 tennis courts, children can explore all the things plants need to grow in our Children's Garden, designed for children from 2 to 12 years old. Over 100 mature trees are spread over this beautiful landscape, with hidden treasures and adventures around every corner, leading to a 4m high canopy walk wrapped around a 200-year-old oak in the heart of the Children's Garden. No pre-booking required – all visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day until one hour before the Gardens close.”

    Marble Hill Playcentres

“The one oclock club is like the dream backgarden but of your best friends house so you don’t have to tidy up! Your children can run wild with no shoes, get wonderfully wet and grubby and generally have a bit of a 90s childhood experience. There a thousand different toys to play and experiment. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it suits them both perfectly. They can explore the space independently and it’s the perfect size for me to keep an eye on them without hovering over them. We love it!”

    Sudbrook School

“Sudbrook is a lovely school, the children are loved and taught and come out with a good background. There is a great mix of physical and mental work coupled with healthy amounts of play. Honestly we could have done with having longer hours but if that's the worst problem then they are doing very very well. Highly recommended for your little ones. Not recommended as a sixth form college :) ......................”

    Beckett House Montessori

    ★★★★★ 4.8

“As a parent to a 3-year-old toddler in the nursery, I write this review to share my current experience. Becket House Nursery is an exceptional place where children are nurtured, inspired, and encouraged to thrive. The teachers are truly remarkable, providing individualized attention and fostering a warm, caring environment where every child feels valued and supported. Their dedication to the children’s well-being and development is evident in every interaction, making it a joy to see the little ones flourish under their guidance. The nursery offers a perfect balance of structure and exploration, including twice-daily short walks to the nearby park where children can play, interact, and connect with nature. Dannie loves going to Becket House, where the safe and nurturing environment allows them to feel secure and happy every day, giving me peace of mind to leave her in such a trusted place. What truly sets Becket House apart is the passion and vision of the owner and nursery manager, who consistently strive to provide innovative and engaging experiences for the children, such as the NAO robot which provides interactive learning. Every day, they introduce professional activities from outside, such as drama, music with instruments, yoga, and sports, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience.”

“My four children attended St Edmund's and all were very happy. They received an excellent all-round education from an experienced and caring staff, in a warm but ambitious environment. I am now a governor at St Edmund's and am impressed every single time I attend the school for visits or meetings, at the absolute passion that all school staff have to ensure that every single child makes excellent progress and learns lifelong skills. I can't recommend this school highly enough, I am proud of my children and what they have achieved and give a good part of the credit for this to St Edmund's.”
