“Characteristic, welcoming place with an excellent atmosphere, clean and tidy. The bathrooms are clean. Friendly, joking, kind staff who are always attentive to customer needs. We went on a Saturday, the cooking was quite quick. Excellent appetizers, excellent pizza especially if you don't like Neapolitan pizza, excellent and abundant desserts. In our opinion it was average. I advise.”

“The pizza is incredible here. I came from the recommendation of multiple friends and it did not disappoint. We had the wild garlic arancini from their specials menu and that was also fantastic. A separate time however I tried the mushroom arancini and that was just alright, wasn't my favourite. The pizza is always fantastic”

“Yoshisushi really brings Korea to London in all the right ways. In the heart of Hammersmith this restaurant serves the tastiest sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken (boneless), bullgogi beef and wakame salad. Most restaurants charge for the side dishes i.e. kimchi, beansprouts etc. however, this restaurant serve them on the house which are a refreshing accompaniment. The portion sizes were much larger than expected despite the prices being very reasonable. All of the people working in the restaurant are friendly, polite and helpful. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience & it will most likely become a regular date night spot. Many thanks!”

“♥ Japanese quality with fresh fish sourced from Europe and Japan. We’ve already been twice this month for the lunch omakase menu (£85), and each time has been excellent. Every piece is fresh and lightly seasoned, so you really taste the fish. I’ve been to Japan many times and tried various omakase – Cube definitely offers an authentic experience that’s comparable to what you’d get there. The restaurant is fairly quiet and the service is attentive. Highly recommend sitting at the counter for a fancy lunch or a catch-up with friends!”

“Ate here a couple of times however never left a review. Sushidog has now several restaurants in London & you can opt for their classic sushidog (exactly what you think it is), for bowls (either pre-set or you create your own) or delicious snacks. Lots of proteins & add-on’s to choose from (e.g. salmon, chicken, shrimps, tofu // edamame beans, ginger, mango, avocado, red cabbage annnnd lots of seeds). The service is super fast & the food is delicious. Note that this particular store has very limited indoor seating (compared to Baker Street for example) as it’s rather small. In summer / or when the weather is nice, they offer outdoor seating. Prices are London typical, but still a bit cheaper compared to Poke Bars (and better in my opinion).”

“One of my favourite places to eat! The owner is friendly, and makes everything from scratch. Wide range of dishes, from sushi to hot meals. Value is good, and everything is super tasty. I'm sad I've moved from the area, but I will always come back and have a meal whenever I get a chance :)”

“Incredible… firstly the food is amazing; such an array of flavours with plenty to choose from! The service is great with lovely stafff who want to make sure you have the best dining experience! A special shout-out to the lovely manager Karolina; the way she takes care of her customers is unmatched. So attentive and such a lovely energy. The restaurant itself is my favourite out of all the branches I’ve been to, due to being in beautiful Canary Wharf, a very ambient atmosphere and a comfortable dining set-up. There’s also some music which offers more of an atmosphere! It’s safe to say I’m coming back…. ❤️”

“Had a great time! Ordered pizza and garlic bread, they were both tasty and the pizza was huge. The staff was cool and funny, which added to the experience. Inside was packed, so we hung out outside. The heaters kept things cozy, couldn't even tell the difference. Good experience all around!”

“We have been to this branch yesterday. A group of 6 and a kid. They offered a really good and cozy table in no time and that was impressive. The service was amazing and fast!. Manager and estar (asian girl) was super friendly. Happy with all over experience also this is the best branch in whole london! They used to give different olives as starters which was my favourite but now they’ve changed. Anyway the best experience”

“The guys arrived on time ready to go. The chef’s trousers were unbelievable The pizzas were possibly the best we have ever had. The whole team were nice and friendly and served incredible pizzas. If you want pizza call Helenia I cannot recommend her Odori & Sapporo by Romeo enough. They made a stressful event catering for 70 odd people dead simple.”

“One of those places where you can literally order anything from the menu and you know it’s going to be good for sure. Also really good quality, quantity and price. Sushi is amazing, very good rice and good quiality. The best tempura I’ve had, so light and crunchy. Perhaps only thing I’m not a big fan of is the ramen, for me the broth is not tasty enough.”

“Had a really lovely meal at the counter, where you can watch the chefs skilfully prepare amazing sushi and hot dishes. We had the tasting menu and the staff were kind enough to swap out the main course for a pescatarian alternative. All of the courses were fantastically prepared and plated, the ingredients used were fresh and of exceptionally high quality, and the flavours of each dish were distinct and innovative without straying from the classics. If you come here and get their tasting menu, you’ll leave full and happy.”

“Genuinely some of the freshest and nicest sushi that tastes better than most big-chain sushi places (think itsu, wasabi...) which is to be expected with a family-owned business! For the price, it is very worth it and I'd highly recommend coming here if you want delicious sushi :)! IIRC, i got the salmon lover sushi for £10.50 and there were 18 or 20 pieces of sushi altogether? Ignore the presentation, I was carrying it in my bag.”

“Best place in Canary wharf for a Sushi takeaway menu box. I am so grateful this place is here to challenge the established others. Prices are reasonable considering it's Canary Wharf! One of the best Wakame salads I've had in a while and the Sushi is perfect!!!! Just perfect and I rarely say that!”

“It is a lovely restaurant. The food was nice, tasty and succulent. Came here with my family, and had a variety of meals like lamb cutlets, crab linguine, chicken breast, chicken guinons, chips, salads, etc. The sauces were also really nice. The staff were friendly and attentive. Carl, who served us, was amazing. Thank you Carl! Parking is not always sufficient. Can find other areas to park The layout has indoor sitting with a beautiful outdoor sit-out where you can enjoy the warmth of the sun and beautiful scenery. I would come again to The Old Guinea for its good food and beautiful view.”
