If you are not worried about distance R&R is the place to go, I have recommended Russell to many of friends over the years and they all have been glad I did. “Joey is the man! A top haircut from a top bloke. You can tell when a barber really knows what they're doing and Joey certainly does. I find some barbers struggle with my hair because it's longer, but this was the best cut I've had in a long time. Took the weight out of the right areas without losing any length and paid attention to the little details. Also done a wicked beard trim! Would recommend him to anyone looking for a proper barber!”

“Chris did an OUTSTANDING job on our oven. We were leaving tenancy and embarrassingly haven't cleaned our oven for years, we also had an oven protector which seemed to have melted a bit and got stuck. Chris was able to come earlier than expected (called beforehand to check) and made the oven practically new again! And he was a lovely guy. Couldn't recommend him enough! Worth every penny!”

“I’ve been seeing Claire regularly for the last few years for services such as gel nails, pedicure and lash and brow tinting. She is very experienced, always does a great job, is very quick and precise plus reasonably priced too. I knew she offered laser hair removal but I’d always been skeptical about it. As Claire trains other salons in how to use the equipment I felt in safe hands and decided to go for underarm laser hair treatment. By treatment 2 I had no regrowth at all for 6 weeks and was delighted with the results as it was over summer and a holiday abroad. I’ve just had my third treatment as there was a small amount of regrowth. The treatment is quick and painless and also very reasonably priced compared to other salons. I highly recommend Claire and any of her treatments –a true professional and I’m very happy I found her.”

“I am very happy to highly recommend Lee Rosewell at Roulotte Services. Our 1997 Autosleeper Executive motorhome developed electrical problems. I wanted someone knowledgeable and empathetic to fix it without breaking the bank. Lee quickly found what was wrong, let me know the parts required and how much they would cost, diagnosed and fixed some other problems, checked and undertook some unrelated minor required maintenance. He gave me helpful advice on how to avoid issues around battery charging. I agree with other reviewers that Lee is an honest, thorough, and professional operator and I am pleased to have found someone I can trust to maintain our old motorhome.”

I arrived at their doorstep with the need for a brides bouquet, matching boutonnieres for the groom and his mother and an additional set of boutonnieres for the witnesses for a 25th anniversary marriage renewal ceremony that I have been asked to officiate. Not only were they able to gently guide me in what might work best in this type of situation, they were also able to deliver in about three hours time! “Visited the Rose and Crown pub over the weekend while in the area for a wedding. It was the closest place so we took a chance. So glad we did ,the staff were helpful, welcoming and had a great sense of humour ,we were treated like we were old friends .The atmosphere was brilliant the place very comfortable and the food was unbelievable. The attention to detail with each dish was incredible , it was hard to pick a winner so choose what you want it will be delicious. Do yourself a favour when in the area and visit the Rose and Crown you definitely won’t be disappointed. Very highly recommended,thank you to the team for doing such a great job.”

“Branded was very well decorated for the festive season. I placed the order to collect, the order was late by the estimated time by a few minutes but it was understandable as it was Christmas Eve. Love the steaks from branded, there is a noodle dish that is very nice and my personal favourite — surf and turf. Food was still warm when I got home — great choice for dinner. My fillet was perfectly medium rare. The sauces are very nice too, not too rich.”
