Most recently Carvella did my hair to an exceptional standard. Amid the rush, I found an oasis of calm, elegant design, and healthy food. The variety of breakfasts, snacks, and drinks was beautifully presented, radiating freshness and well-being. The service was impeccable, and the modern, minimalist decor completed an experience that exceeded all expectations. One detail I found especially chic was the invitation to take a paper bag to store leftovers and deposit them in their containers, with no extra charge. A simple gesture, yet full of intention: practical, eco-friendly, and stylish. Without a doubt, it’s the most pleasant food franchise I’ve ever enjoyed while traveling.”

“We had our twins 18th birthday party yesterday in Amrit Lounge. The food was so delicious by chefs (Mr. Sharma & Mr. Pandey) , waitress ( Aasha) was excellent and was spot on. The manager ( Mr. Sooriya ) was so helpful and he is brilliant. He managed this event so smoothly that all our guests (80) were so impressed with the food & service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for small partys for around 70/80 people. A big "Thank you" to all the staff of Amrit Lounge for making this event a grand success.”

“Super easy to find inside of the London Heathrow Airport. I was greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I entered the establishment. I looked at the menu prior to arriving so I wouldn’t spend too much time making decisions. I chose the assortment of 8 and had them wrapped in a colored bow of my choice for no extra charge, I also tried the vanilla cake, which was recommended by the employee. It was extremely light, and delicate to taste. It was the perfect snack to eat while on my flight. I will definitely stop inside during my next visit! :-)”

“Update in 2025: No longer VAT-free. Better off buying in France (but the stock is limited) and detaxing. Sales team were helpful and kind and were happy to explain that the tax situation changed since my previous purchase. Lots of WOCs and classic items. No beige or nude WOCs since those are often hard to find. 2018: VAT-free Chanel store at Heathrow (VAT-free if you’re a non-EU resident)! There’s another store at Terminal 5 too if you’re looking for something hard to find (I believe they will call and ask for you). Staff are helpful and professional. Was able to browse and complete a purchase of a purse within a 10 minute span or less (flight was departing soon). The saleswoman was able to get the purchase done efficiently and get me out the door to my flight.”
