Delicious in Kingston Upon Thames

“I was a little worried after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have been! Short walk from the station, greeted very warmly by Alizay who was an absolute joy. Given a choice of floors, so opted for 6 as figured it would be quiet. This is the business floor... Room was spotless, even a bit of a view from the window. No issues with getting in late after a gig, key card worked fine. I felt safe as a woman on my own. Comfy bed, great shower, and no rush to check out the next morning. Another lovely gent on reception. Would definitely stay again, easy quick walk to go look at some of the sights. Really can't find fault for the price.”

“Ordered off them Almost religiously for the last year and their pizza is so tasty always cooked just right and delivered super fast! All their drivers have all been polite and very kind to the kids that lie to answer the door with me... I felt like it was time I gave them a review as I know not enough people remember to review amazing service! I'm usually one of those people but a recent trip to another ocal pizza place was shambolic and made me realise how amazing and faultless these guys are! They always have lots of deals on and are very reasonably priced with them! I only wished they accepted cash but I understand why they don't right now and hopefully this option will return once things are "normal" again! Look forward to many future pizzas from these guys I won't be going elsewhere.”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”

“Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. All over great experience from start to finish!!”

“Delicious food, quick service, central location (hidden away). We’ve had the carbonara, spinach & ricotta ravioli, crab ravioli, black spaghetti with seafood*, lemon & prawn linguine*, black seafood risotto and wild boar ravioli. All were super tasty. Also the feta with honey is so good. Great selection of juices, smoothies, coffee. Delighted to realise Nakos is now open in the evenings for dinner too! And dog friendly. (*see photos). Nakos has become my favourite place to eat in Kingston!”

“Mr Walid and Lena are beautiful people and they serve delicious food. I have been coming here everyday for over a year and they honestly treat me so warm and friendly, like family. The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. I often struggle with what to pick but I can never go wrong with the chicken Tawouk or chicken shawarma or the lamb kofte. No matter what you order it will be made to your liking and you will not regret giving their food a try. The service is fast and efficient. Everything is well worth the price! The food keeps me all day during my studies. I promise you will be a regular customer as I am for them. Stepping into the their establishment is one of the best decisions , I’ve ever made.”

“This place is fantastic. Vietnamese food in general is one of my favourite cuisines, and this place encapsulates that at a very very decent and affordable price. If this place stayed open later I would probably find myself having this waaay to much, and I think it'd end up being a borderline addiction. With the market closing at 5, I often miss it, so I only get it once or twice every few weeks. Massively recommend this place, even above the Pho restaurant just around the corner which charges alot more!”

A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! “One of the best boutique cafe in Hampton Wick (South West London). The Barista is very attentive to detail.Superb desserts, delicious homemade savory food, sandwiches, including vegan options. The homemade soups are great especially in cold days and is a great alternative. Stylish interior. Nice staff. The lady "Simona" is very friendly and she makes everyone feel welcome. When shopping in nearby Kingston Upon Thames, we always go to this cafe.If you are tired of the big branded coffee shops and you want to have a really good coffee, this is the place for you!”

“Lovely piece of Portugal in Kingston. Delicious food, coffee with great friendly service. Well stocked wine "library". I asked for a recommendation for a medium priced red wine to accompany a steak dinner. It wasn't too much trouble for the owner to recommend from the wide offerings, which was much appreciated.”

“This place is under new management and is truly changed for the better, the new rotund boss has made some brilliant changes. Tom who resembles the jolly round butcher we all grew up with, has rebranded as a ‘Tea and sausage sandwich emporium’. You can come and enjoy your pot of lapsang suchong and bacon sarnie until late afternoon. The colourful range of local clientele also makes each visit similar to a visit to the zoo! Well worth a visit! Honestly the only coffee shop in town that is worth frequenting!”
