“I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service in this restaurant. It is very cosy in the front, but it extends to the back and even has a beautiful garden that will be lovely in the Summer. It is great for a date night or if gathering with friends. Food was very tasty and the dessert was very delicious. I had salmon fillet and tiramisu. House wine was very good too. Highly recommend it and definitely will be back.”

“Popped into in today and shared a bowl of nachos with my wife, absolutely the best nachos I think I’ve ever had. We opted for pulled pork and guacamole. All the ingredients were fresh and vibrant. Will 100% be back to sample more from this menu. Apologies for not taking a photo before we ate it but I didn’t think it was going to be so good so hopefully the picture still shows how great it was.”

“I absolutely love this cafe. The cappuccino I had was one of the best I’ve ever tasted creamy, hot, and made with care. The space is inviting, with a mix of modern style and homey charm. The breakfast menu includes lots of delicious dishes. The staff are genuinely friendly, not just polite, and make you feel welcome. It’s clear they care about both the coffee and the customers. I’ll be bringing all my friends here from now on.”

“Megan and her team did an amazing job of looking after us all for my husband’s family birthday bash. We were a large group and were able to have the restaurant side of the pub exclusively for us. “I have been to Middeys on several occasions and they offer a wide-range of excellent halal dishes. The drinks are also superb - I love the lychee bubbles - and the service is fantastic place. It is very popular but have gone several times without needing to book.”

Polite, friendly and very efficient.Two tiny disappointments were a lack of festive arrangements on the tables and no winter ales on tap but in no way deflected from a lovely evening, at a very fair price. Very friendly service and the bar tenders are always helpful with helping me choose something new to try. Clean, good environment and lovely food. The portions are decent. Nice that there is seating outside for us smokers”

“What can I say, but WOW! Compared to other "coffee shops" in the area, it has a more extensive menu. Compared to cafes in general, the food was fresh and flavoursome, the staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cordial and relaxing. The tables were very clean and even shiny. Nothing to fault this for, and it even has a garden you can sit in.”
