“I am proud to share that I have successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at Uxbridge College, within the Department of Engineering. This has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has not only expanded my technical knowledge but also strengthened my practical skills in the field of automotive engineering. A huge part of my success is thanks to the outstanding guidance and support provided by my tutors and the workshop team. I would especially like to express my deep gratitude to *Narinderpal Matharu (Steve)*, whose dedication to teaching and deep understanding of the subject matter made complex concepts easier to grasp. His clear instruction and constant encouragement were invaluable throughout the course. Equally, I must commend *Chris Baker*, whose hands-on expertise and passion for the trade were truly inspiring. Chris has an incredible ability to break down advanced techniques and pass them on to students with clarity and patience. His commitment to developing our real-world skills has equipped us with the confidence needed to succeed in the industry. I would also like to thank *Dain* , the assistant in the Uxbridge College workshop, for his consistent support during practical sessions. Dain's approachability and readiness to help created a welcoming and productive environment where learning was both enjoyable and effective. Uxbridge College has provided a strong foundation for my career in vehicle maintenance and repair, and I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone serious about entering the automotive trade. The staff’s commitment to student success is evident in every aspect of the program.”

“I had Luna my beagle in recently and was so please with how neat she looked coming out, claws and ears were done and a good wash and de shed as well as a quick tooth brush, really happy, Karen is lovely and we even got a cute little bow in Lunas collar, will definitely be using again”

“We went to escape London yesterday for our first ever escape room. What an experience! We tried the Area 51 room and it was very difficult for us but had fun throughout! Bea was lovely and welcomed us in and gave us our briefing super helpful! And we didn’t hesitate to radio Daniel for hints whenever we were stuck (which was quite a lot). He didn’t make us feel useless and guided us along the way and even took pictures for us. 10/10 , can’t wait to come back again and try an easier room!”

“My Son has been going to The Young Once since end of November 2024. When I saw him get off the breakfast table and walk by himself to the baby area, it was such a proud moment. He feels happy and at home there. This is the only nursery we have come across where the lovely staff has a big smile on their face at 8:00 am and same smile and enthusiasm at 6:00pm. This was so important to me. Kelly said to me you had the baby 9 months in your belly then a year of maternity and then you have to leave your baby with strangers, this nursery really gets it and gives our little humans all the love, confidence and care we wish for them. My little boy loves this place and when I ask him are you going to play with Carol. He has the biggest smile on his face and Carol is right, he can say her name now. I am so glad I visited this nursery and my little one is going to have amazing 4 years here.”

“Very professional and managed to do my girls nails in 10 minutes, use to take me an hour as she became so stressed. But with Kelly she was as good as gold!. I will be back in 2 weeks to get them trimmed again.”

“Truly exceptional daycare - a game changer for us! K9 Adventures was recommended by our behaviourist as one of the best in the area, and they absolutely live up to that reputation. This is the first daycare where I've felt 100% comfortable and able to truly trust my dog's care. The difference they've made to Jeff is remarkable. He was destructive and frustrated at previous daycares, but the structured environment and enrichment activities here have transformed him. He's now so much more confident and content at home too. The team are incredibly professional with excellent communication and genuinely care about each dog's wellbeing. Without K9 Adventures, I wouldn't be able to meet my work commitments while ensuring Jeff gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. Quality daycare like this is so rare. The whole team are amazing and we're so grateful for everything they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

“We went to see the circus in Cork Showgrounds What an amazing show that absolutely blew our socks off!! These showmen really are worth seeing, me and my family who ages ranged from 65 to 2 all loved it. I would highly recommend this circus”

“My daughter loves going to this nursery. They always welcome her with the biggest smile and make her feel special every time. My daughter has learnt so much since being there for the last year or so. She has become more confident and her breath of vocabulary has most definitely widened because of their teaching. When she comes home she is always repeating songs they sing during circle time. I would highly recommend this nursery as not only do they support the child to progress but also give really good advice to parents regarding potty training etc. Whenever I pick my daughter up I love how nicely the children play together and enjoys playing with her friends.”

“Really nice place. The interior is clean, spacious with a large view of the mall interior. The entrance is inside the next, in the women’s shoe section. A little tricky to find but definitely worth it. The coffee and hot chocolat is good. There is a nice selection of cakes and deserts as well as savoury food. The staff is nice and the service is quick.”

“Our adventure with Monkey Music started a few years back when I was looking for something to do with my older daughter, that would be entertaining but educational same time. Right now all 3 of my children are attending the classes and I can't praised it enough. The classes are always fun but if you want to see a real benefits of Monkey Music I recommend that you attend it for as long as possible. After a while you will notice you child being more and more confident, getting to know all the songs and moves. You will be amazed how the classes develop your child speech (a case with one of my twins), memory, they will learn a lot of things about music as well as counting, colors, time, how to read music. They will learn about different instruments, how you play them, how do they sound like etc. each term there are new songs/activities.The staff is always very friendly and professional. And to sum it up it is even very educational for us - parents as I learned a lot about music myself :)”

I have taken all three of my children to Kathryn's classes and it's the one class that I have made sure we continue when they started going to Preschool- partly because they didn't want to stop, and partly because I didn't either. It's a 'proper' music class, but perfectly pitched at children's capabilities at each age to engage and stimulate them. Highly recommended.”

“I have two children at this school, one in Yr. 2 and the other just started Reception having attended the Nursery. Both of them throughly enjoy attending and learning in this environment and it constantly amazes me just how varied their knowledge has become. From day one (2years ago) when there were only 43 4 year olds, to this day of over 250 pupils, there has been a consistent and tenacious focus on delivering the best learning for all of its pupils. The leadership team are warm and welcoming, making themselves highly visible at the school gate and always willing to listen to parents' views or offer advice. They have set out a strong set of values and life skills which are positively reinforced across the school in a consistent way from class teacher to whole assembly. For some of these traits the children are asked to behave like a particular ' Learnasaur ' character such as the Tryasaurus who is always willing to try new things or a Sharadactyl who shares their learning resources. Both my kids have really engaged with this type of encouragement and it is commonplace to hear us talking about them at home. All the staff that have been recruited display a huge passion for delivering the best experience for the children, whether they're dinner ladies, site managers or have office roles. The teaching staff are great and display the same understated professionalism day in day out, they have embraced the opportunity this new school presents and are working well together to deliver a first class education. Mr Butler's musical influences have shown themselves many times over the last couple of years during assemblies and Nativity plays. My personal highlight was last years Year 1 performance which involved the whole year group, lasted over 40 mins and was incredible to watch, it was hard to believe we were watching 6 year olds as the performance level and engagement across the whole group was so strong and mature. Other highlights from last year included the children asking Boris Johnson some tough questions when he visited the school and the Pupils performing their 'Big Dance' at the summer fayre.”

“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. “With the COVID Period reaching it's peak, I decided to look into ways to get active again after having spent the better part of a year in isolation. SHENTIE has been amazing to that end. They have been incredibly helpful, with expert teachers that were able to appeal to the wide array of skill levels that we had in the club. Their service is excellent both in booking and in session, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. A great martial arts school that you can take with you forever.”

“My 2 daughters age 5 and 4 absolutely love going to their dance classes. They have been going for a year and performed in a show in October. The teachers are really good with children and they teach different styles of dance. They also do gymnastics.”

“Best vegetarian/vegan place in the area as other places you'll pay loads more and this is really good food for an all you can eat buffet fully vegetarian/vegan just around the corner from Shepard's Bush station. Great value for what ofcourse not the best quality food but is still very nice for what you pay. Cheap and cheerful no frills. It's cash only but there is a free ATM just 1 minute walk down the street.”

“Used to be a bit of an icebox but now heated to a comfortable 23° year round. Great place for a swim, and reasonably priced (considering the cost of heating) at £7 for residents”
