“Recently had a 10th Birthday party at Goals, South Ruislip. This was the first time using Goals and wish we had done it for all previous football parties as this was by far the best. Excellent value for money with great facilities. Special mention for Miles, he made the party what it was. It seemed he remembered the name of all ten of the kids within minutes! “Ruislip Stars Nurseries is a fantastic nursery that my husband and I would highly recommend. Our daughter started at Victoria Road but has now moved to the new St Mary's (on the Fairway) branch. Our daughter has attended full-time since she was ten months old and has thrived under the care and affection shown by the whole team. They have always provided the highest level of care and enabled her to achieve her full potential. Our daughter suffers from multiple severe food allergies and it is very reassuring knowing that she is being looked after by such a diligent team. Nicole is a wonderful leader and is working with a fantastic team. Our son also attended the setting during his summer holidays and had nothing but positive things to say - in fact he was a little sad when his time there came to an end! Thank you Ruislip Stars for being so amazing!”

“Hired Stuart and Ben for my son’s birthday party after being recommended by his schools PTA and can’t recommend them highly enough. Kept 30 children occupied and entertained for 2 hours with music, dancing, the magic mirror Photo Booth and games throughout the night. Worth every penny.”

“Genuinely a really lovely experience at Reis Grill & Bar. Music not too loud, very nicely decorated, very lovely and attentive staff, and the food is to die for! The service was also very quick, but it wasn’t so quick that we felt rushed. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The only downside was that the food was so good I didn’t have any room for dessert! Thank you very much for a lovely evening.”

“We’ve been taking Teddy to Plush Pooches for 3 and a half years. Teddy is a Romanian Rescue who is very anxious and nervous and we never thought we would be able to take Teddy to a groomers after his first experience elsewhere. However with the encouragement and professionalism shown by all staff members at Plush Pooches Teddy now goes monthly for his grooming. Teddy has lots of issues with his joints and is always treated with the upmost care. We have and will continue to recommend Plush Pooches to friends and family. Thank you Marie & Team”

“I’ve been to Yana twice now. I took my son there to get his hair wash and blow dried as I was finding it difficult to manage. Yana was very welcoming and worked her magic. His hair has transformed. He had such a sore scalp previously and now he doesn’t feel a thing when I’m combing it! It’s a joy now. “I've been coming to the pole class here for 6 years and absolutely love it! Jade, the instructor is incredibly encouraging and supportive. She has created such a welcoming atmosphere, making everyone feel comfortable regardless of their experience level. Her guidance is clear, patient, and motivating, which really helps build confidence while learning new moves. The class is a perfect mix of challenge and fun, and every week I leave feeling stronger, inspired, and excited to come back. “This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”

“One of my favourite non-league grounds. It’s had better times but I still like it. There is now a superb clubhouse that is right next to the pitch. It’s very spacious and modern. It has a balcony where you can watch the match from, giving you an elevated view. There is a covered stand at one end of the ground, and a covered seated area at the other, but this has seen better days. There are a number of seats missing or damaged, but it adds to the grounds character. The volunteers are very friendly and welcoming, so if I have a spare Saturday I will enjoy revisiting. Highly recommend for a visit.”
