“I was very nervous about today having had to book a tooth extraction. Dr Fionnuala Lyons spoke to me a few days before the procedure to ensure I understood what was happening and on the day she talked to me to make me comfortable She made sure I was calm before the extraction. She put me at ease by playing music from a concert we had both attended. She asked me what I was comfortable with I.e did I want to hear what she was doing throughout the process or did I prefer not to know. She recognized when I was uncomfortable or in pain and paused to ensure I was okay. I would definitely recommend her.”

This was particularly meaningful as the tooth I was seeing him for underwent great trauma 10 years ago and I felt he was very responsive to the impact that had on me - always explaining what we was doing and checking in. I also arrived flustered as I was late due to unforeseen circumstances but that didn’t impact his quality of care which I’m very grateful for! He was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of guidance on the issues I presented with and of course the dental work he provided in the appointment was exceptional. The receptionist on the Saturday when I called also went above and beyond to get me in on that Monday which I really appreciate. Thank you all so much!”
